#RHOA: Sheree Whitfield Cries Over Her Breakup With Tyrone
Sheree Whitfield‘s feelings caught up with her during the July 10 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, when she learned that her fallout with Tyrone was in the press. Apparently, the press had caught wind of the fact that she and Tyrone were no longer speaking — she blocked him — so now she was being forced to deal with her emotions.

‘Real Housewives’ Star Jennifer Shah Pleads Guilty to Fraud in Telemarketing Case
‘RHONJ’ Rivals Teresa Giudice & Caroline Manzo To Risk Awkward Run-In At BravoCon 2022
It was actually during an appearance on her daughter’s podcast that she learned about the news, but she didn’t truly react to it until she invited her friend, Fatum, over to her house a few days later. There, they sipped on some champagne and Sheree began sobbing. “I feel so f***ing stupid,” she told her friend about wasting years of her life on a relationship with Tyrone.
Then, after she got a good cry out, she told Fatum that she wanted to throw a lavish slumber party to cheer herself up. So that’s exactly what she did. She invited all the girls, including OG cast member Lisa Wu, and everyone had a good time. Kenya Moore may have had a bit too much fun, though — she drank quite a bit — and it led to some heated moments with Marlo Hampton.
Marlo had just kicked her nephews out of her house, so she was in a pretty emotional space when she arrived at Sheree’s. She told the ladies that her nephews weren’t listening to her and were destroying her house, so she sent them to live with her younger sister for a while. Kandi couldn’t believe that Marlo would do such a thing, but Marlo said she needed to do it for her own mental health.
Kenya actually didn’t know about Marlo’s situation, but they still had some unresolved tension stemming from their fight at Drew Sidora‘s workout class, so no matter what was going on, another fight was bound to happen. And like we said, it did. Kenya kept calling herself “the moment”, and Marlo nearly poured her glass of champagne on Kenya’s head.
Meanwhile, Drew got into her own argument with Fatum because Fatum revealed that she had someone do a background check on Drew and her husband, Ralph Pittman. Fatum said her friend discovered that Drew and Ralph had dozens of aliases, and while some of the ladies thought the claim was funny, Drew did not. She basically told Fatum to stop talking and mind her own business.
At one point, Lisa also yelled at Sanya Richards-Ross because Sanya tried interrupting her when she was talking to the group, so a lot of people were arguing throughout the night. But that’s exactly what we hope for when the ladies get together. Especially when alcohol is involved.

#MusicNews: Ne-Yo Reveals 'Self Explanatory' Tracklist
It’s been four years since Ne-Yo’s last album, but the wait is over.
On July 15, the R&B crooner is set to return with his eighth studio album, Self Explanatory. The 13-track set includes previously-released singles with Jeremih (“U 2 Luv”) and Bleu (“Stay Down”), plus collaborations with Trippie Redd (“Push Up”) and Zae France (“Layin’ Low”). Last month, Ne-Yo dropped a video for his sultry single, “You Got the Body.”
“What I want people to take from this album is just music to live life to, music to feel some emotion to,” he told Jalen Rose. “We got to a place in music where the emotion kinda died down a little bit. Everybody’s real tough, everybody’s real cool. People are afraid to be vulnerable. That vulnerability is what connects us, that ability to lock into another person’s heart.”
Ne-Yo, who remarried his wife Crystal Renay earlier this year, started recording the album four years ago, but the pandemic thwarted his plans.
“I started this album in 2018, and I was moving through it a little more slowly than normal,” he told Haute Living. “The pandemic really threw a monkey wrench in everything, for everybody — myself included. I wasn’t doing a lot of recording at the time because I was just trying to figure out what the hell was actually going on. It was a moment.”
Self Explanatory arrives July 15. See the tracklist below.

‘Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’ Star Jen Shah Pleads Guilty In Telemarketing Fraud Case
Television personality Jen Shah has retracted her previous not guilty plea by pleading guilty in her federal fraud case.
According to reports, “Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City” star Jen Shah appeared in a Manhattan, New York federal court for a surprise change of plea hearing on July 11. She switched her original plea of not guilty to guilty for her involvement in a nationwide telemarketing scheme.
Jen Shah reportedly faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and five years of supervised release, but her plea agreement called for only 11 to 14 years behind bars and restitution of up to $9.5 million. Entering the guilty plea means Jen will not stand trial. She was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.
Per reports, the 48-year-old reality star admitted her wrongdoings to Judge Sidney H. Stein. When asked what she did, Jen responded:
“Wire fraud, offering services with little to no value. We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry.”
The Bravo star also admitted she knew what she was doing was “wrong and illegal.”
As previously reported, Jen’s former legal team withdrew from her wire fraud case weeks ahead of the start of the trial. It is unclear why her lawyers pulled out of the case.
Jen and her personal assistant Stuart Smith, 43, allegedly scammed hundreds of people out of money, targeting the elderly in particular, through a widespread telemarketing scheme.
Jen’s alleged role was to find victims to take advantage of and create a list of leads to issue to the telemarketing firm. She in turn allegedly received a portion of the profit. Her sentencing is now scheduled for November.
What are your thoughts on Jen Shah’s guilty plea?
U.S. Olympian Kim Glass Suffers Gruesome Injuries After She Was Attacked By Homeless Man In Los Angeles
Olympian volleyball player and model Kim Glass revealed she was attacked and severely injured by a homeless man in L.A. over the weekend!
The 37-year-old athlete–who won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics–detailed her experience and shared the injuries she suffered in an Instagram story. She showed her right eye swollen completely shut, blackened, and stitched up with a gash on her nose. In a series of videos posted to her social media page, Kim Glass said it all happened on Saturday (July 9) after she was leaving lunch with a friend at a restaurant in Downtown L.A. Upon leaving the restaurant, she noticed a man in the street with something in his hand.
Kim explained,
“He just like looked at me with some pretty hateful eyes. And, as I turned to go tell my friend, ‘I think something’s, like, wrong with him and I think he’s going to hit a car,’ before I knew it, a big metal bolt, like pipe, hit me right here. It happened so fast..He literally flung it from the street. It kinda took me down and out.”
Kim Glass revealed that a group of strangers came to help her after she was hit and stayed by her side until emergency services arrived. Other people held down the man who reportedly threw the metal pipe until the police came to the scene to take him into custody.
According to sources, the LAPD did arrest the suspect, ID’ed as a 51-year-old male. The man was booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon and was not given bail.
In her video, the olympian said she was diagnosed with multiple facial fractures and needed stitches to close wounds. Thankfully, Kim said doctors do not expect her vision to be permanently affected by the incident. She added she was grateful for all the support she’s received from friends and family since the incident, and happy things didn’t turn out worse.
Kim Glass also issued a warning to her fans to be careful and mindful of their surroundings. She said,
“Just be safe out there. There’s a lot of mentally ill people on these streets right now and you shouldn’t have to be fearful when you walk but it’s true. And, so, you guys just be safe.”
See Kim’s video below detailing the incident HERE
We are happy that Kim Glass is okay despite the frightening incident.
Martin Lawrence And Will Smith Are Moving Forward With ‘Bad Boys 4’ Despite Oscars Controversy
Lawrence opened up about whether there are plans to nix plans for their next sequel.
After the infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident, projects tied to Smith’s name have stalled. Netflix’s Fast And Loose, which was slated to star the actor, has halted production indefinitely. And while the rest of the film industry has distanced itself from the King Richard star, Martin Lawrence is reassuring fans that Smith and Lawrence are Bad Boys for life.
During an interview with EBONY, Lawrence discussed his relationship with Will Smith. Martin was questioned on whether or not, in the aftermath of the slapping incident, the two icons would join forces for the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise. Lawrence’s reply insinuated that he had no plans of walking away from his friend and colleague and canceling the project.
“We got one more at least,” Martin Lawrence said about the possibility of Bad Boys 4.
Martin Lawrence’s empathy for Will Smith can be traced further along in the interview during a moment where he discussed comedy legend and actor Eddie Murphy. Murphy saved Lawrence a career relaunching role in the 1999 comedy movie Life during a tumultuous time in Martin’s life that saw the industry distancing itself from the comedian.
“It was a tough time in my life at that time, and Eddie called and had Life ready for me,” revealed the comedian. “He wouldn’t do the movie with anybody else but me. So, I really love him for that.”
Elsewhere, Lawrence has received much love for his iconic sitcom, Martin, after the airing of the show’s reunion special on BET. He recently opened up about reviving his shelved plans for a Shenehneh and Wanda film. “If we [Jamie Foxx and I] could ever get that together, I think y’all would love this,” the actor and comedian told Jimmy Fallon last month.
Martin Lawrence is also set to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later this year.
Trey Songz Dodges $20 Million Lawsuit From Unnamed Woman
Trey Songz, who has been accused of multiple sexual abuse allegations, has now had one lawsuit against him dropped.
An unnamed woman has retracted her $20 million lawsuit against Songz—née Tremaine Neverson—over an alleged 2016 rape that took place at a house party. She also requested that the case be dismissed with no prejudice against her. According to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, the nameless woman requested the notion in late June, and on Wednesday (July 6), the judge granted the dismissal. As of now, no other details have been made available to the public, such as why the case has been asked to be dropped in the first place.
According to the former lawsuit, she stated that Songz threw her to the ground, ripped her clothes off, and anally raped her despite her pleas to stop. The woman said she exited the party immediately after the incident and went to a local hospital where doctors confirmed to her that she had “severe anal tearing that could require surgery.”
She also admitted in the documents that she did have a casual sexual relationship with Songz before the alleged incident. She also expressed that out of “fearing for her life,” she did not identify the 37-year-old singer as her abuser initially. Since the attack, she expressed in the filing that she’s had ongoing “fear, anxiety, humiliation, depression, and other physical and emotional injuries, and damages.”
Trey Songz Facing $5 Million Settlement For Allegedly Exposing Woman's Breast At A 2013 Party
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first alleged incident that has involved the “Say Aah” singer. In April 2022, a woman named Megan Johnson requested a $5 million settlement regarding an incident where Songz revealed her breasts by pulling down her bathing suit top, at a party. TMZ released the footage. In January, an ex-college basketball player named Dylan Gonzalez accused him of a nine-year-old rape, although investigations led to no pursuit. Also, in December 2021, Jauhara Jeffries filed a follow-up lawsuit alleging Songz assaulted her at a nightclub on New Year’s Eve in 2018.

It's Official: Funny Girl Stan Lea Michele Replacing Beanie Feldstein In Broadway Revival
Maybe The Secret does work after all. After years of publicly auditioning for the role of Fanny Brice on Glee and in real life, Lea Michele has been cast in the starring role in Broadway’s Funny Girl revival. Michele will start performances on September 6, replacing Beanie Feldstein, who opened the revival and is slipping out earlier than expected, on July 31.
In the interim, Feldstein’s current understudy, Julie Benko, will be playing the role from July 31 through September 4. Jane Lynch, who will be with the production through September 4, will be replaced by Tovah Feldshuh beginning September 6. The casting marks Lea Michele’s return to Broadway after leaving Spring Awakening in the spring of 2008, after which she spent her time on television allegedly tormenting her co-stars. Since she’s replacing Feldstein in the role, Michele is not up for a Tony Award, but this is big enough news that she will probably still be reviewed once again.
Many hope she can live up to the rave she received on Glee.
Wendy Williams Reveals If She Would Ever Get Married Again
Wendy Williams is opening up about possibly saying “I Do” again.
While promoting her new podcast The Wendy Experience, the 57-year-old former daytime talk show host shared some rare comments about her love life while revealing if she wants to get married again.
“I can’t wait to fall in love,” Wendy shared with HollywoodLife. “However, there’s no money in getting married, so I will never get married again.”
“But to fall in love, I’ll probably have to go through 40 or 50 men before I find the right one,” Wendy added.
As for one of the qualities she’s looking for in a man, Wendy admitted, “He’s got to make more money than me…I know what I want.”
Wendy has been married twice before: to Bert Girigorie from 1994 until 1995 and to Kevin Hunter from 1997 until 2019. She and Kevin share one son, Kevin Jr, 21.

Two Brothers Surrender To Police After Beating 73-Year-Old Man To Death With Traffic Cone
Two brothers turned themselves into Philadelphia police Monday after the vicious beating death of 73-year-old James Lambert that was captured on camera, police said.
The siblings, ages 10 and 14, surrendered to authorities in connection to the fatal attack by a group of young people. As we previously reported, Lambert was hit with a traffic cone during the June 24 attack and died from his injuries a day later.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner spoke with CBS 3 Philly and said the investigation is very active and juveniles involved could likely face murder charges “certainly on the very limited information we have.”
Authorities released the video last Friday of James Lambert being viciously attacked by a group of seven teens just after 3 a.m. on June 14 as he was walking across Cecil B. Moore Avenue, police told NBC10.
The footage shows Lambert attempting to walk away from the group as they follow him across the street before one of the male teens hits the victim from behind with a cone.
The collision knocked Lambert to the ground. While he was down, a girl picks up the same cone and throws it at him as another one in the group records on his phone, the video shows.
Lambert seems to get up and run down the sidewalk away from the teenagers. But the same girl picks up the cone again, chases down Lambert and throws it at him once more while some of the teens smile and laugh.
The Philadelphia Police Department is still offering a $20,000 reward to lead them to the rest of the children responsible.
Billionaire Robert F. Smith’s plastic plants are offending swanky neighbors
Billionaire Robert F. Smith’s plastic penthouse plants are not up to par for his ritzy Chelsea neighbors.
A source tells us that Smith, the CEO of private equity firm Vista Equity Partners, has decorated the outdoor deck of his $59 million NYC penthouse with towers of cheap plastic shrubbery.
“The fancy [neighbors] are complaining all over the neighborhood,” says the source. “He has a $59 million apartment and fake plants? Eww.”
Smith lives with his Playboy model wife, Hope Dworaczyk, in the 10,000-square-foot home that spans three floors and has a pool.
The plants, though seemingly low maintenance, apparently get daily upkeep says our spy.
“Every morning an army of staff appear on the roof at 7:30 a.m. sharp to put up umbrellas and dust the plastic plants,” says the source.
One neighbor said of Smith’s decor, “Eww.”
The Washington Post via Getty Im
Adding, ‘He couldn’t hire a landscaper? Sweetie, this is Chelsea. Prepare to be judged.”
But sources familiar with fake plant faux-pas tell us they were part of the temporary decor set up for a fundraiser Smith hosted that featured classical music performances by young black musicians.
And they tell us, he otherwise does not keep plants out there.
Smith’s neighbors are a chatty bunch.
In 2020, they were annoyed by the near yearlong renovation that had contractors and workers streaming in and out of the building with one sniffing, “I guess even when you pay $60 million, it’s still a fixer-upper.”
A source told Page Six at the time that, “The apartment is being renovated to reconfigure the systems, which were recently being tested,. No redecoration, just finalizing the system configuration.”
Smith wed Dworaczyk in 2015 in a lavish ceremony on Italy’s Amalfi Coast that included performances by John Legend, Seal, Brian McKnight and DJ Cassidy. We are betting they had real flower arrangements.
ESPN Airs Fake Ja Morant Quote About Michael Jordan That Was Posted by Ballsack Sports Account
ESPN’s This Just In ran a segment Monday centered around a fake quote from Ja Morant about Michael Jordan.
In the fake quote, which came from Ballsack Sports, Morant said Jordan would be considered “just another superstar” if he were playing today.
ESPN seemed to conflate the Ballsack Sports quote with Taylor Rooks’ interview with Morant in which he did claim he “would’ve cooked” Jordan. Ja explained that he’s “never going to go and say nobody going to beat me 1-on-1,” regardless of the sport.
Rooks confirmed Morant never said Jordan would be “just another superstar” in today’s league.
David Jacoby, who filled in as host of today’s episode of This Just In, issued an apology for the mistake.

The event featured programs and activities from Event Partners like Coca-Cola’s If Not For My Girls, AT&T’s Dream In Black, Essence’s Girls United, and the Propel Center. Sponsors also pledged and donated $100,000 to Janet’s Rhythm Nation Scholarship Fund, which is partnered with the United Negro College Fund.

Timothy Loehmann: Cleveland Cop Who Killed Tamir Rice Swiftly Exits New Police Job
*(CNN) — Timothy Loehmann, the former Cleveland, Ohio, police officer who fatally shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice in 2014, resigned from his law enforcement position in Tioga Borough, Pennsylvania, days after he was sworn in, a borough official told CNN Thursday.
Loehmann had been slated to be the only police officer for Tioga Borough, according to the borough’s mayor, David Wilcox, CNN affiliate News 5 Cleveland reported Wednesday. According to the latest Decennial Census data, the rural town in north-central Pennsylvania boasted a population of 606 inhabitants in 2020.
Henry Hilow, an attorney who represents Loehmann, told CNN his client resigned from the Tioga Borough Police Department because of a conflict between Wilcox and the borough council. Loehmann had been sworn into his position earlier the same week by Wilcox, according to Tioga Borough Council President Steve Hazlett.
Both the mayor and the council were apprised of Loehmann’s background, Hilow said, a subject they broached during his interview. However, where the council continued to back Loehmann’s appointment to the police department, Wilcox did not, according to Hilow.
Loehmann felt the dispute wouldn’t allow him to do his job to the best of his ability, so he resigned, Hilow said.
“He didn’t want to be a distraction for people,” he added. “The situation was discussed, as well as other questions of his qualifications to serve the community. In no way was there deceit by Mr. Loehmann.”
CNN has reached out to Wilcox and his attorney. They did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
McDonald’s Offering Free French Fries To Commemorate National French Fry Day
McDonald’s will celebrate National French Fry Day by giving customers a free order of large fries.
The promotion will only take place on July 13th, the day honoring the fast-food favorite. To get in on a free order of fries, all patrons must use the McDonald’s app and be a part of the free loyalty program. The coupon is valid for one order per customer.
The origin of National French Fry Day is unknown. However, it celebrates the invention of french fries, which were first mentioned in the French cookbook La cuisinière républicaine in 1795. Though several countries have taken credit for creating the tasty treat, fast food restaurants have perfected the fried potato and capitalized on them for years.
Mickey D’s is not the only restaurant giving away free fries for the unofficial holiday. Wendy’s is taking the celebration a step further by offering Fry Week, a five-day event offering various freebies to customers.
McDonald’s fans looking to enjoy the renowned menu item do not have to purchase any other food. Fry lovers are encouraged to pair the crispy salty snack with any of the dipping sauces, such as the Big Mac sauce or spicy Buffalo sauce.
For those who cannot make it to the golden arches on Wednesday, July 13th, they can still grab a free order of medium fries every Friday with any $1 minimum Mobile Order & Pay purchase, available only in the McDonald’s app.

“So my sister LisaRaye did an interview,” said the rapper. “And brought up the fact about the baby. And this post and so she went into detail about again her not knowing.”

LeBron James Launches Sports Nutrition Company
LeBron James has launched a nutritional and supplement brand.
The NBA player has recently partnered with his longtime trainer, Mark Mancias, to create Ladder. The brand is a combination of James’ passion for wellness and entrepreneurship and is used as his inspiration for the launch. The company is centered around nutritional and performance supplements.
Ladder features a line of products that include plant-based nutrition shakes, whey, and plant protein. It also includes pre-workout, superfood greens, and hydration products.
The idea came to James after suffering from muscle cramps during Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals. James asked Mancias for help to revamp his nutritional and fitness regimens. However, James wanted this to be done by adding supplements to his diet.
After failing to find supplements that weren’t a part of NBA’s banned substances, the two decided to take matters into their own hands. The journey to finding the right ingredients wasn’t quick, in fact, it took four years to build Ladder from the ground up. The process may have taken some time due to the focus on taste, performance, and quality.
Ladder is currently available for purchase on the company’s website.
Billy Porter uncovers traumatic story behind great-grandfather's death by police officer
On Sunday's season premiere of NBC's Who Do You Think You Are?, actor and activist Billy Porter went on a journey to uncover his family's history and, ultimately, discovered the true story behind the death of his great-grandfather Thomas Henry Richardson.
"I do remember hearing a story that my great-grandfather got shot in the back. That's as far as the conversation went," shared Porter. After looking up Richardson's death certificate and multiple newspaper articles from 1923, he was surprised to read that his great-grandfather was shot in the breast, not his back. However, Ancestry family historian-genealogist Nicka Sewell-Smith told Porter that white newspapers, back then, wrote stories "in a particular way" that differed from Black newspapers.
In the Pittsburgh Courier, a publication dedicated to reporting on the Black community, Sewell-Smith pointed out that the story identified the fact that Porter's great-grandfather was shot and killed by a police officer. "Investigation discloses fact that white police officer 'with reputation for shooting' killed Joseph Richardson in cold blood," read Porter.
When Porter questioned what happened to the police officer who shot and killed his great-grandfather, he wasn't all that surprised to learn that the jury freed the officer of the murder charge, but was still overcome with emotions.
"The thing I hate the most on the planet is injustice," said Porter, who later added, "How do we continually take in this information, continually take in this trauma, continually live through this, and still show up for our lives? Violence against people of color is wholly American and reading this really sheds light on why it was never spoken about."
Viewers were also emotional over Porter's discovery, especially since these tragedies still exist a century later:
Fortunately, it wasn't all sad. Porter also learned that his great, great, great-grandparents were part of the 10% of Black people in America that were freed inhabitants early on, which to him, was empowering.
"Now when somebody asks me, 'How do you have so much strength? How can you stand up to a world that dismisses you,' it's, like, I come from this on both sides. You know, I came from people who were making a way out of no way the whole time. I am who I am because of who I come from," shared Porter.
Porter concluded, "All these centuries later, me coming down here has made my family seen in ways that they never could have imagined. And, you know, what I'm grateful for in discovering and uncovering these specific stories from both sides of my family, it feels empowering, magical actually."
