Adele Covers American Vogue US November 2021!
Adele is the first-ever cover star to collab between American Vogue and British Vogue.
In America, Adele is much more subdued, compared to her Steven Meisel images in British Vogue. She looks fabulous on the cover, wearing a green Valentino Haute Couture gown. Photographer Alasdair McLellan [IG] captures the star, who is styled by Tonne Goodman./ Hair by Frankie Boyd; makeup by Akki Shirakawa
We learn that Adele has been doing rigorous weight-lifting and circuit-training sessions every day for three years and counting. Sometimes, Adele works out twice in one day if her anxiety is running high. The world agrees on very little at this point, and women who lose weight are slammed regularly on social media for betraying the sisterhood and our core argument that all bodies are beautiful.
We leave her for now, with Adele doing deep squats with pounds of weight on her shoulders. She’s been watching Rocky movies over and over and over at Heart & Hustle, and no one should be surprised when she belts out:
#RHOA: Kenya Moore: Ramona Singer was ‘blatantly disrespectful’ on ‘Ultimate Girls Trip’!
Kenya Moore shut down Ramona Singer’s impudent behavior while filming Peacock’s anticipated “Real Housewives” mashup series, “Ultimate Girls Trip,” in Turks and Caicos this summer.
“In the beginning, she just seemed to be very rude. She cursed at me within 30 minutes of meeting her,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, 50, said of her “New York City” counterpart in an interview with Page Six.
“I’m not going to get along with someone who is just so blatantly disrespectful,” Moore continued, noting that she is “not the girl to be disrespectful with.”
The former “Dancing With the Stars” Season 30 competitor added, “Maybe she doesn’t know my street cred, but she found out.”
Indeed, previews for “UGT” see Moore clapping back at Singer, 64, after the latter “Housewife” shouts, “Oh, f–k you,” while aboard a boat.
Without missing a beat, Moore puts the belligerent pinot grigio enthusiast in her place. “What you’re not going to do is say, ‘F–k you,’ to me,” she asserts, later asking, “Who the f–k do you think you are, Ramona?”
Though she felt good about standing up to Singer, Moore admitted that taking a ride on the Ramona Coaster was no fun at all.
“You know you’re not going anywhere. It was like, I’m just doing it now for the sake of abusing myself,” she told us of trying to communicate with her fellow Bravo star. “Because the more you kept trying to talk to her and talk sense into her, it was like hitting your head against a brick wall.”
Moore also shared her thoughts on Page Six’s exclusive report about Singer’s alleged comment that launched Bravo’s recent investigation into racism.
“I’d hate to speculate on something like that. I don’t know her well enough and I didn’t personally firsthand witness anything,” Moore said. “That could be very damaging to someone, especially if it’s not true. I just would like to have more evidence or know more about what is alleged or just simply wait until it’s an actual fact or not.”
Singer reputedly said, “This is why we shouldn’t have black people on the show” in reference to Eboni K. Williams after Luann de Lesseps asked Williams to leave her home following a tense “RHONY” scene. (Singer, who was cleared after an internal investigation, has denied making any such remark.)
Moore went on to say that she didn’t walk away from “UGT” with the feeling that Singer is racist.
“I didn’t get that sense,” the “Gone With the Wind Fabulous” songstress said. “I got the sense that she was just a jerk.”
Luckily for Moore, there were plenty of women with whom she got along swimmingly in the Caribbean — including longtime “RHOA” bestie Cynthia Bailey (though the two got into a “little tiff”), de Lesseps (“RHONY”), Kyle Richards (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga (“The Real Housewives of New Jersey”).
“I was excited that they were finally putting something together, but I was most excited when I finally started to hear the names of the other girls,” Moore said of being asked to participate in the first all-star season, expressing her intrigue in getting to know everyone other than Singer.
“That’s what made me say yes. I thought it was a great idea and then when I saw the other cast members, I was like, ‘Oh yes, count me in!’”
Moore — who said that “UGT” and all its “amazing” drama will “blow [fans’] socks off” — told us that she found her strongest ally in Gorga, 42.
“My turn-up buddy was Melissa. I love Melissa so much. I called her my ‘Little Flawless,’ like that was her rap name,” she said. “We’re connected in a way. We’re the fun girls. We like to party, dance, crack jokes [and] just do silly stuff. I would have to say I probably had the most fun with her.”
“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” begins streaming Thursday, Nov. 18, on Peacock.

Ana DuVernay And OWN Announce Conclusion Of “Queen Sugar” With Final Seventh Season In 2022!
Series creator Ava DuVernay and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that the critically-acclaimed drama series “Queen Sugar,” from Warner Bros. Television and ARRAY Filmworks, will conclude in its seventh season next year. Writing on the final season has commenced and production will begin in early 2022 in New Orleans.
“To everything, there is a season. And my producing partner Paul Garnes and I have had seven gorgeous seasons making ‘Queen Sugar’ with a remarkable cast and crew, alongside our partners at OWN and Warner Bros. Television,” shared DuVernay. “To write and produce seven seasons of a modern drama centered on a Black family is a radical act in our industry and a triumph that has far exceeded every hope I held. Now I feel strongly that the story, which began as a sunrise of a suggestion from Oprah, is ready for its sunset as a dream fully realized. ‘Queen Sugar’ has been one of the true joys of my career and my gratitude is buoyant and boundless.”
In its six seasons to date, “Queen Sugar” has consistently enjoyed critical acclaim and industry recognition. Earlier this year, Emmy Magazine featured the influential series as a cover story declaring it “one of the best hours on television.” The African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) awarded the series with Best TV Drama for four consecutive years, the Impact Award in 2021 and multiple Best Writing awards. Additionally, the series was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Drama Series and has been named Television Show of the Year by the American Black Film Festival (ABFF). Creator and executive producer Ava DuVernay was recently named Producer of the Year by The Hollywood Reporter.
Throughout its run, “Queen Sugar” has been lauded for its powerful portrayal of an African-American family in the Deep South and for DuVernay’s continued commitment to hire an all-female directing team throughout the entire series run. Since its debut in September 2016, 42 women have directed episodes of QUEEN SUGAR, 39 of whom made their television directorial debut on the series. At the outset of production, DuVernay established an inclusive initiative to hire an all-female directorial team and a representative crew in terms of race, culture, gender, sexuality, age and physical ability.
“Queen Sugar” is produced for OWN by DuVernay’s ARRAY Filmworks and Harpo Films in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series is based on the book by Natalie Baszile. The first five seasons of “Queen Sugar” are currently available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
LeVar Burton Has Finally Found A Game Show To Host Following The ‘Jeopardy!’ Fiasco!
After LeVar Burton went on a roller-coaster experience as a potential contender to become Alex Trebek’s successor as the permanent host of Jeopardy!, the gig ultimately went to executive producer Mike Richards. He lasted less than a week at the podium, and LeVar Burton has landed on his feet with a new game show hosting gig. The beloved Reading Rainbow host has teamed up with eOne to develop a new show based on the classic board game Trivial Pursuit, which falls directly into Burton’s wheelhouse as a purveyor of knowledge.
“Trivial Pursuit is one of the best-known brands in the gaming universe. I am thrilled to have partnered with Hasbro and eOne to bring this beloved game to market as a premium show for television,” Burton said in a statement to Deadline:
“LeVar Burton has been an iconic member of American pop culture for decades from Roots to Reading Rainbow to Star Trek and beyond. His love for intellectual curiosity paired with his ability to connect with audiences worldwide make him the perfect partner to bring Hasbro’s beloved trivia game to households in a new and exciting way,” added Tara Long, President, Global Unscripted Television, eOne.
Clearly, Burton’s time on Jeopardy! hasn’t soured him to the world of TV game shows, but don’t expect him to be calling out Daily Doubles again. When asked back in October if he’d take the now-vacant Jeopardy! hosting gig if it was offered to him, Burton told an interviewer exactly what he’d say to Sony Pictures Television, “‘No. You’ve got to be kidding me! You’re out of your mind. Goodbye!”
'Wendy Williams Show' announces new guest hosts for next week, Remy Ma and Fat Joe!
"The Wendy Williams Show" has announced its upcoming guest hosts, including Rappers Fat Joe and Remy Ma, who will take over for Williams on Tuesday, Nov. 23, and Wednesday, Nov. 24.
MTV's Devyn Simone, Variety's Elizabeth Wagmeister, author Bevy Smith and comedian Michael Yo will host the show together on Monday, Nov. 22. All have hosted the show previously. Williams, who tested positive for a breakthrough infection of COVID in September, is taking time off for her health.
While she no longer has COVID, Williams is dealing with continuing medical problems associated with Graves Disease, an auto-immune disorder affecting the thyroid, which also caused her to take leave from the show back in May 2020.
While she is recovering, Wendy Williams, shown in 2013 in Red Bank, has had a number of people host her show this season.
A native of Asbury Park and Ocean Township who has also lived in Livingston, Williams updated fans in a recent Instagram statement saying, "I'm making progress but it's just one of those things that's taking longer than we expected. I'm a woman of a certain age and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I'm ready."
Her show has been pushed back twice this season, originally from Sept. 20 to Oct. 4, and then to Oct. 18.
The 13th season has been hosted by an array of guests, including Whitney Cummings, Sherri Shepherd, Jerry Springer, Michael Rappaport and more.
It is not known when Williams will be returning to the show. A representative did not respond to questions.
Iman Shumpert becomes first ex-NBA player to reach “Dancing With The Stars” finals!
The former Brooklyn Nets player and his partner received a 38 out of 40 for their jazz routine to Kanye West’s “Dark Fantasy.”
Iman Shumpert just became the first ex-NBA player to make it to the finals of “Dancing With The Stars” in the show’s 30 seasons.
On Monday night (Nov. 15), the former Brooklyn Nets player and his partner Daniella Karagach received a 38 out of 40 for their jazz routine to Kanye West’s “Dark Fantasy.” Following the show, Shumpert spoke to reporters about how he felt making it to the finals. “I kinda invite pressure. It makes for a better moment, and apparently, we are the ‘moment makers’ – Tyra [Banks] gave us that name,” he said. “I think we just sort of lean on doing choreo that is challenging.”
He added, “I came on this show to take on a challenge, and this is something that I’ve never done, and it’s been a lot of fun. The whole journey through it, so we are just gonna keep rolling with that.” Shumpert also said that he hopes his accomplishments on the show will encourage other NBA stars to join “Dancing With The Stars” in the future.
Teyana Taylor, Shumpert’s wife of five years, took to Twitter to celebrate her husband’s victory. “I’m so fucking proud!!!” she tweeted, alongside several crying emojis. Back in October, Shumpert told Insider that his wife gives “a lot of pointers and small adjustments” to make to his dance routines “on the fly.”
Teyana Taylor pauses show to check on fan’s well being
“What she does is, she is able to look at something, mimic it, become it, and then add flair to it,” he added. “So, I am kind of being coached.”
Although the “Gonna Love Me” singer doesn’t have ballroom experience herself, the former NBA champion said his wife is “great with teaching.” He said that his dance partner is like the good angel who knows “all the right things,” while Taylor, on the other hand, “is like the cool devil on the shoulder” who is saying, “I don’t know how to do it either, but this is how we gonna get through it.”
Congrats to Shumpert and his partner for moving to the finals.
Chris Tucker reveals why he refused to film ‘Friday’ sequels!
Chris Tucker, who starred in the 1995 stoner comedy “Friday,” is coughing up the real reason he refused to reprise his lead role as Smokey opposite Ice Cube in the flick’s follow-up films — and he’s not just blowing smoke.
“One of the reasons why I didn’t do [‘Friday’ sequel ‘Next Friday’] is because of the weed,” Tucker, 50, explained during a guest appearance on movie podcast “Flix Talk” Monday.
“Man, that movie became a phenomenon. I don’t want everybody smokin’ weed,” the stand-up comedian-turned-cinema hotshot added. “I never really told people this because I kinda forgot about it, but it was one of the reasons why I didn’t do it.”
“Friday” — which was co-written by Ice Cube, nèe O’Shea Jackson, 52 — follows broke best friends Craig (played by Ice Cube) and Tucker’s character Smokey, a small-time marijuana dealer, whose weed-smoking habits land them in hot water with a neighborhood drug kingpin.
It’s been widely speculated that Tucker passed on starring in the blockbuster hit’s continuations due to beef with Cube over money.
But now, Tucker — who was replaced by comedian Mike Epps, 50, in sequels “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next” — has made it clear that the franchise’s marijuana-driven storyline clashed with his moral compass.
“I said, ‘I don’t want to represent everyone smoking weed,’ ” he revealed. “I kinda made it more personal than a movie, and that’s one of the reasons I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to keep doing that character.’ ”
Despite his abrupt departure from the cannabis-centric trilogy, the “Rush Hour” humorist is happy the decision led him to greener pastures.
Brian Michael Smith: First Transgender Man on People’s ‘Sexiest Men Alive’ List!
*Actor Brian Michael Smith has become the first female-to-male transgender to make it to PEOPLE’s “sexiest man alive” list.
This year, the highest honor of the sexiest man alive in 2021 went to actor Paul Rudd. PEOPLE also published the 25 “sexiest men you can watch on TV now” and Smith, who played Paul Strickland on “9-1-1: Lone Star,” made the cut.
“Well howdy, partner! The 9-1-1: Lone Star was one of People’s Ones to Watch in 2021 and we will definitely not have a hard time keeping an eye on him,” People wrote in its description of Smith.
Smith celebrated the historic news on his Instagram, as he is the first trans man to ever make the list. Check out his IG post below.
“I’ve been called many things, this is a first,” he wrote. “Incredibly honoured to be included in this list with so many actors I admire.”
In an interview with Huffington Post earlier this year, Smith noted that “playing a Black trans character on a TV show is a story that needs to be told”.
“This is why I feel like I was brought in for the role because I can really pull from some authentic experiences, or even if I haven’t had the experience myself, just a deeper understanding perhaps of what the character might be going through and then filtering it through the lens of his story,” Smith said of his “9-1-1: Lone Star” role. “That’s what’s exciting for me, that’s been what the work is.”
Lady Gaga & Jared Leto Dress To Impress at 'House of Gucci' NYC Premiere!
Lady Gaga stuns on the black carpet for the premiere of House of Gucci held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday night (November 16) in New York City.
The 35-year-old actress and singer joined co-stars Jared Leto and Al Pacino at the star-studded premiere for their new film, which hits theaters next week.
Earlier in the morning, Lady Gaga appeared on Good Morning America and revealed her reasons as to why she didn’t meet with the real life Patrizia Reggiani, whom she plays in the movie.
“[I] didn’t want to meet [Patrizia] because [she] could tell very quickly that this woman wanted to be glorified for this murder and she wanted to be remembered as this criminal…” she shared. “I didn’t want to collude with something that I don’t believe in. She did have her husband murdered.”
Gaga and Jared are also pictured out the night before, heading to a private screening of the movie.
Congrats! Shaunie O’Neal and Pastor Keion Henderson Are Engaged: ‘This Love Is Forever’
Please join us in congratulating Basketball Wives star Shaunie O’Neal and Pastor Keion Henderson who are now engaged!
The couple shared the exciting news with PEOPLE Magazine this Tuesday. Shaunie, 46, said “yes” to a proposal from her boyfriend, Pastor Keion Henderson, on a tropical island at 11:11 p.m. on 11/11 after nearly two years of dating.
“This was one of the most magical and special days of my life, being someone that had never officially been proposed to — like no down on one knee and asked ‘will you marry me’ moment,” Shaunie said in a statement to the outlet. “And honestly I’m the person that thought I would never in my lifetime experience a love like this. Everything about that night was incredibly amazing.”
Speaking more about her special moment she said, “I wouldn’t change a single thing. As a matter of fact, I wish I could experience it over and over again. Keion is an extraordinary man of God. He’s wise, he’s supportive, he’s so loving and attentive. He loves me and my children in a way that has changed my life and my heart. He makes me want to be better every day. And I pray that I do the same for him. This love is FOREVER and I’m honored and overjoyed to do forever with him.”
Henderson also told PEOPLE in his own statement: “I’ve never been more loved than I am right now. I’ve never met a more supportive person in my life. There is an inseparable connection that is undeniable between Shaunie and I,” he says. “I am unwilling to let anyone else occupy her space. The love and respect we share for each other contributes to our ever evolving humility and growth. Which ultimately makes us more like God. Who wouldn’t want a spouse that makes you more like The Creator? She simply brings out the best in me, and wants the best for me. Any love that accomplishes all of that naturally is worth pursuing. Our engagement is the beginning of a new day.”
Shaunie was previously married to Shaquille O’Neal from 2002 to 2011. The pair have four children together : Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir and Me’arah. Shaunie is also mom to another son, Myles, from a previous relationship, PEOPLE notes. Meanwhile, Henderson has one 9-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
W Magazine trying to pull Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner cover after Astroworld!
W Magazine is desperately trying to pull its upcoming edition after putting Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner on the cover, Page Six has learned.
Editors are in a tizzy over the issue following the Astroworld Festival tragedy, in which 10 people died and more than 300 were injured during a performance by Scott in Houston.
The Scott-Jenner cover, which also featured a big interview in the issue, was shot and printed before the Nov. 5 concert, but had not yet been shipped, prompting the scramble to recall the magazine before it hits store shelves, sources said.
“W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks,” one source told Page Six.
“In the light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least.”
Scott, 30, has been under a lot of scrutiny over Astroworld — which was attended by Jenner, 24, and their 3-year-old daughter, Stormi — and has been criticized by people who feel he could have stopped the chaos by halting his show earlier. This has been denied by his new spokeswoman.
Nike has also postponed its sneaker collaboration with Scott, as victims have launched a slew of lawsuits that have already topped 100 in the wake of the tragedy.
The rapper and his billionaire girlfriend, who is pregnant with their second child, have been staying at his $14 million Houston home since the incident.
Jenner and Stormi were at the gig with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum’s sister Kendall Jenner.
While Scott has said he is “devastated” by the incident, his spokesperson insisted, “He was not responsible for this, but he wants to be responsible for the solution.”
Britney Spears Is ‘Thinking About’ Having a Baby With Fiance Sam Asghari After Conservatorship Termination
She wants a baby — one more time. Britney Spears confirmed that she is considering having another child days after her conservatorship officially ended.
“I’m thinking about having another baby!!!” Spears, 39, shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 16, alongside a photo of child standing on their toes. “I wonder if this one is a girl …”
The Grammy winner, who is engaged to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari, shares sons Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Insiders said in March that Asghari, 27, was hoping to have kids with the “Womanizer” singer eventually. “Sam would love to start a family with Britney,” the source said at the time. “He’s always dreamt of having children and thinks he would be a great father. He’s a natural around little kids.”
Spears’ message came after a judge terminated her 13-year conservatorship on Thursday, November 12. Control over both her person and her finances has been returned to the “Stronger” singer after a lengthy court battle.
The pop star spoke out publicly about the conservatorship — which put her father, Jamie Spears, in control of her estate starting in 2008 — for the first time in June during a courtroom testimony that left fans shocked.
Among the more controversial claims was Britney’s allegation that she wasn’t allowed to make choices about her own family planning under the conservatorship.
“I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” Britney said at the time. “I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby, I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children — any more children.”
Both Jamie, 69, and Jodi Montgomery, who was appointed temporary conservator of Britney as a person in 2019, denied the allegations.
The Crossroads star’s father filed to end his role as conservator of her estate on September 8. Just days later, Asghari and Britney announced their engagement on September 12.
The “Brave New Girl” shared the news with a video via Instagram, writing, “I f–king believe it.”
Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen, confirmed the engagement, which took place at Britney’s home, telling Us in September, “The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.”
Will Smith Opens Up About the Bonuses He Gave to 'King Richard' Cast & Crew!
Smith is opening up about his appreciation for the cast and crew of King Richard.
The 53-year-old producer and star of the drama, who plays Richard Williams, the father of tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams in the chronicling of their professional journey, got candid with ET about giving bonuses to his co-workers.
“All I can do is my part, so it’s always an honor and a pleasure for me to do my part, and everybody put in brilliant work,” he said.
“It was the COVID shutdowns, people really stuck with us” he added.
“It was a much more difficult process than anybody thought they were signing up for,” he went on to say, adding: “I just felt that it was fair.”
King Richard will debut simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max.
The Hollywood Reporter previously revealed that he received about $40 million for the film, and used his own money to pay bonuses to the cast of King Richard, including Saniyya Sidney (Venus) and Demi Singleton (Serena), as well as Tony Goldwyn, Jon Bernthal and Aunjanue Ellis.
They were reportedly an additional cash sum, in addition to what Warner Bros. had already given them to compensate for the same-day theater and HBO Max premiere strategy amid the pandemic.
Six Teens Hospitalized Following Aurora, Colorado Shooting
At leat six teenagers were injured Monday during a shooting near a high school in Aurora, Colorado.
According to the Aurora Police Department, five of the victims were aged 14 to 17-years-old. They were all taken to a nearby hospital. The sixth victim was 18-years-old and was able to drive himself to the hospital. The teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred in Nome Park, which is near the Aurora Central High School. The high school was initially reported to be on a lockdown, but that was updated to reflect the school was on a “secure perimeter.”

Shell casings from multiple guns were found at the scene. Eyewitnesses described multiple suspicious vehicles in the vicinity. The department’s Gang Unit was brought in to investigate the incident.
