You said that you’re having a good day. What’s made it a good day?
“I’m just excited for the future. Just setting habits for myself. Handling things differently. You know, I love self-help books. They genuinely help. I’m setting systems for myself instead of goals: working out more and whatnot. Trying to improve my stamina onstage. I’m back to drinking this water. In the studio a lot. Always trying to experiment and try new things and never try to make the same song over again. Yeah, all of that.”
The idea that right now you’re most in love with your work, but you do still have this yearning to be affirmed and loved by someone else. Do you feel those things are going to be in conflict for a long time?
I feel I still want to hang out with guys every now and then. I don’t want anything that’s—not to be a whore or anything, but I don’t want anything that’s like, “I need your time right now.”

#RHOA: NeNe Leakes & Kim Zolciak Reunited At Atlanta Convention
NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann recently shared a hug and laughed together during a reunion of The Real Housewives of Atlanta OGs. With them both being dry in the reality TV department at the moment, they had time in their schedules to make an appearance at an event together. NeNe and Kim's reunion was a nostalgic moment for early RHOA fans who can remember when they both dominated the show. Now with them showing how well they can get along, viewers want to know if producers will bring them back together onscreen.
NeNe and Kim were the best frenemies in RHOA history. Kim ultimately left the show after season 5. But not before creating some of the most iconic moments in Housewives history with NeNe. Between their countless ups and downs as friends, NeNe and Kim have always been able to put their differences aside and come together. During Kim's last appearance on the show, her daughter Brielle upset NeNe by recording cockroaches that she saw at her house. It appeared to be the final straw on their friendship.
But now with NeNe also being an alum, she doesn't mind appearing for a paid gig alongside her old friend. Over the weekend, NeNe and Kim reunited at the Atlanta Ultimate Women’s Expo. In a video clip shared by The Ultimate Women's Expo, NeNe and Kim appear on stage and share a hug before holding hands while waving at the audience. "This is gave us all the feels, what it’s all about, #friendship and #womensupportingwomen," they captioned the post. Both NeNe and Kim were keynote speakers at the event and didn't look like they had an issue working together. Fans of the show applauded NeNe and Kim for coming back together as friends.
It's been years since they shared such an amicable public moment. It gave many viewers hope of a friendship duo returning to the show. "This moment right here was amazing I'm so glad they're back friends," one fan wrote. "This moment here is a blessing to see the2 of them can come together again and put their differences aside and make it work," another viewer said. "You guys were best friends come together and make the show big again team Kim team neneleakes," they added. It's clear that viewers wouldn't mind a reemergence of NeNe and Kim on the show. With the recent cast shakeup, the show could use some old blood to reignite viewership.
Sheree Whitfield is the latest OG to return to the show. Viewers are excited to get filled in on Sheree's life since she last appeared in season 10. NeNe doesn't have the best relationship with show producers at the moment. But The Real Housewives of Atlanta crew will do what's best for ratings and NeNe was always good for boosting viewership. Hopefully, we get a chance to see NeNe and Kim make a comeback on the show that made them household names.
#NewMusic from Brandy ’ With ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’
Queens is killing the game. The freshman ABC series is impressing critics and viewers alike as we get to know the four leading ladies who once ruled the hip-hop charts in an alternate '90s universe. Of course, part of what's selling the series is that they recruited actual stars to play the titular group, including R&B darling Brandy. She proves to be the heart and soul of the ensemble as the hot-headed Naomi, and it's through her that we get the more heartfelt musical moments. That includes a new cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine.
"Brandy's voice is one of the most remarkable in the business and a song like "Ain't No Sunshine" is a great showcase for it. Paired with just an acoustic guitar, she adds her own fire to the cover as she embraces the song's lyrics with an airy rasp while singing. The unexpectedly quiet musical arrangement also does wonders here. The original and many of its subsequent covers sometimes let the strings and other instruments do the heavy emoting. Having Brandy's voice be the star allows her to speak directly to the listener and pull on their heartstrings.

And don’t forget to watch Queens on Tuesday’s on ABC!

Howard University Students End One Of The Longest Protests In School’s History
After 33-days of protesting in and around the Blackburn University Center, Howard University students say they have come to an agreement with university administrators.
Howard University students ended a protest that lasted just over a month on Monday after coming to an agreement with university administrators. This follows several weeks of negotiations.
Donald Temple, an attorney for the students, announced the agreement with university officials which, he said, is confidential.
“The students courageously journeyed on a path toward greater university accountability and transparency and public safety,” Temple said.
When the sit-in at the Blackburn University Center–one of the longest in school-history–started in mid-October, students initially raised concerns over poor housing conditions and COVID testing. They also called for the reinstatement of student, faculty, and alumni members to the Board of Trustees.
On Monday morning via Instagram Live, Aniyah Vines, one of the lead organizers with The Live Movement, the student-led group that advocates for school reform, said that they will continue to advocate for change.
“We are out here continuing the fight, it’s not going to stop here,” Aniyah Vines said on Instagram. “We’re not done at Howard, there is a historic disconnect between administration and student bodies, not just at Howard, but at a lot of HBCUs [historically Black colleges and universities].”
In a video statement on Monday, university President Wayne A. I. Frederick called the agreement “a welcome development, and a necessary end to a challenging few weeks for everyone involved.” He did not elaborate on the terms of the agreement.
“The health and well-being of students is the most important part of my job as president,” Frederick said. “As I have said before, even one issue in one of our residence halls is too many, and we will continue to remain vigilant in our pledge to maintain safe and best-in-class housing.”
Mason Calhoun, one of the freshman who joined the protests, told DCist/WAMU that at least three of their demands were met. But, a fourth demand: the reinstatement of students, faculty, and alumni on the Board of Trustees is “still in limbo because there are external things like litigation going on that we don’t really have too much control over as students.”
Nee Nee Taylor, a parent of a Howard University freshman, told DCist/WAMU she was glad that the students received amnesty for these protests, but not all demands, like calls for an immediate housing plan, were met.
“If [the housing plan] were taken care of, my son would have a place to live,” she said.
Taylor says she’s been supportive of the protests since her son was diagnosed with a respiratory infection and acute cough in his first months in college. She says his dorm room was “impacted by a hazardous air environment” from unclean air ducts and filters.
“[My son] was instructed that he was going to be moved and that the room was going to be cleaned again, and still to this day, a week later, neither have been done,” Taylor told DCist/WAMU. “My son is at home in his bedroom, while I’m paying $5000 rent for a room he cannot live in.”
DaniLeigh Charged With Assault After DaBaby Calls The Cops
A rep from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed there were two incidents involving DaBaby and his child’s mother, Danielle Curiel, a.k.a. DaniLeigh, and that charges were filed against Curiel.
via: Rap-Up: The couple got into a heated exchange while Dani fed their 3-month-old daughter on Instagram Live. After exchanging insults, DaBaby eventually called the police in an attempt to make the mother of his child leave his house.
“I don’t want no charges pressed or nothing I just want her peacefully removed,” DaBaby said on IG Stories.
According to Rolling Stone, officers responded to two incidents at the rapper’s home. During their first visit on Nov. 14, DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, claimed he had been assaulted by DaniLeigh.
In a separate incident at the same location on Nov. 15 at around 9:35 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance where DaBaby told police that his girlfriend had assaulted him.
A rep from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed the two incidents and that two simple assault charges were filed against DaniLeigh, whose real name is Danielle Curiel.
“As a result of the investigation, Curiel was served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault. Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on Nov. 14,” the statement read.
DaniLeigh has since moved out of DaBaby’s house and taken their daughter with her. “I left and me and my baby safe … Thank y’all for the support,” she told her followers.
She also addressed the couple’s on and off relationship after DaBaby called her a “sidepiece.” “If that all is side chick behavior bet … I was blind in love and dumb… But aye used to this man embarrassing me on the internet! all bc he know he wrong!” she said.
Amid their dispute, DaBaby revealed the first image of their daughter after Dani’s attempts to keep her face off the internet. “Sad .. That’s how y’all had to see my baby for the first time… evil ass man,” she wrote.

Nike postpones Travis Scott Air Max 1 release amid Astroworld tragedy
Nike has postponed the upcoming release of their latest sneaker collaboration with Travis Scott after the deadly events that transpired at his Astroworld Festival earlier this month.
On Monday (Nov. 15), the SNKRS app released a statement, which read, “Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.” The “Baroque Brown” and “Saturn Gold” colorways of Scott’s Air Max 1 collab were originally supposed to be released on Dec. 16 on the SNKRS app for $160 each.
As previously reported, 10 people lost their lives as a result of injuries they sustained at Scott’s annual festival, including a 9-year-old boy.
As the “Sicko Mode” rapper performed, a crowd of more than 50,000 people surged toward the stage and many people were trampled and unable to move or breathe. As seen in multiple video clips, first responders tried to get to the injured attendees as Scott’s set continued.
The Houston rapper offered to cover funeral costs for all of those who were killed during the festival. He also offered to give free mental health counseling sessions to those who were affected by what happened.
Nike’s statement came just a day after it was announced that Ezra Blount, a 9-year-old Astroworld attendee, had passed away after being trampled at the festival. He became the 10th and youngest victim to lose their life from being injured at the show.
Blount’s family, along with hundreds of others, have filed lawsuits against Scott and Live Nation for negligence, including failure to provide proper medical attention, crowd control, hiring, supervision, training and retention.
“This should not have been the outcome of taking their son to a concert, what should have been a joyful celebration. Ezra’s death is absolutely heartbreaking,” said attorney Ben Crump, who is representing Blount’s family. “We are committed to seeking answers and justice for the Blount family. But we stand in solidarity with the family, in grief and in prayer.”

Jenelle Evans Loses Clothing Line After Slamming LeBron James Over Rittenhouse Trial
*“Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans has reportedly lost a deal with a clothing company after she clapped back at LeBron James for criticizing accused teen killer Kyle Rittenhouse.
The NBA star took to Twitter last week to reply to a video of the 18-year-old Rittenhouse crying on the stand in court during his murder trial.
“What tears????? I didn’t see one,” James wrote, referring to Rittenhouse pretending to cry. “Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”
Evans fired back with, “Next time there’s grown adults making fun of your kids.. don’t try and defend them when you act the same way,” the reality star wrote via Twitter.
She then took aim at James’ acting career. “My kids watched Space Jam and looked up to you. Now I know what type of person you are.”
Fans of Evans were quick to slam her for defending Rittenhouse, who traveled from Illinois to Kenosha Wisconsin, where he allegedly illegally acquired a weapon that he used to shoot three Black Lives Matter protestors, killing two of them.
The backlash caught the attention of on-demand fashion brand Fashion SewSewYou, which joined forces with the MTV star on a fitness and loungewear collection. Evans had been promoting her line for weeks in preparation for its November 17th launch, but following her comments to LeBron James, the collection has been canceled.
“Been crying all morning. Sorry to let everyone down but the company SewSewYou has dropped and cancelled my clothing line due to haters 😞💔 #Heartbroken,” she tweeted.
Prior to getting canceled, Evans took to TikTok to show a small clip of her new clothes, but fans were not impressed. She claimed the times were “made from luxury material and the best craftsmanship I’ve ever seen. Created with the most sustainable clothing and on-demand.”
However, most fans weren’t feeling it, with one Reddit user commenting: “Why does the material look like cheap craft felt?”
Another added: “That looks like a jail jumpsuit,” while one chimed in, “This suit is so unflattering.”
A third said, “It’s cheap material for what I’m guessing will be a high price,” with one coming in, “Big old nope!”
Evans is reportedly planning to move forward with her clothing collection without her partners at SewSewYou.
‘Sesame Street’ Debuts First Asian-American Puppet To Fight Race Hate
The newest kid on the block at “Sesame Street” is Korean-American Ji-Young.
The show’s first Asian-American Muppet will make her official debut on Nov. 25 during “See Us Coming Together: A Sesame Street Special,” which will see a number of multicultural celebrities — including Simu Liu, Padma Lakshmi and Naomi Osaka — join the program, which airs on HBO Max, PBS KIDS and the “Sesame Street” social media channels.
Her name boasts a double meaning, according to the 7-year-old Muppet herself. Ji could mean “smart or wise,” while Young translates to “courageous and strong,” the character told the Associated Press. But, as it turned out, ji also refers to “sesame” — go figure.
Aside from her love of soccer, skateboarding and playing guitar, Ji-Young also brings to the table her Korean heritage, particularly one of her favorite foods, a chewy rice cake called tteokbokki.
The woman behind the Muppet, 41-year-old Kathleen Kim, began her work in puppetry during her 30s and joined a Sesame Street workshop in 2014 — a dream come true for the lifelong fan.
She shared her excitement, as well as her fear, regarding the historic new cast member.
“I feel like I have a lot of weight that maybe I’m putting on myself to teach these lessons and to be this representative that I did not have as a kid,” Kim told the AP.
The inception of Ji-Young came out of the nonprofit Sesame Workshop’s Coming Together initiative, launched in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd and subsequent protests against police brutality and racial bias, as well as the number of anti-Asian attacks, seemingly prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the AP. Coming Together was a way to “meet the moment,” said Kay Wilson Stallings, executive vice president of creative and production for the workshop, and aims to promote diversity on-screen, as well as behind the camera.
“Today, we uphold [Sesame Workshop’s] mission by empowering children and families of all races, ethnicities and cultures to value their unique identities,” said Stallings in a statement to The Post. The new Thanksgiving Day special “continues ‘Sesame Street’s’ proud legacy of representation with an engaging story that encourages empathy and acceptance,” she added.
Wesley Snipes Says Mahershala Ali Will Do “Great” As Blade In MCU
If you went to see The Eternals, a spoiler is incoming, the introduction of Mahershala Ali occurred in the second post-credits scene. Ali will be the second edition of Blade to hit the silver screen, following Wesley Snipes.
Online a fan asked Snipes how he thinks that Ali will do in the role. Snipes offered a simple response “He will do great” with the praying hand emoji.
Two years back when Marvel took over San Diego Comic-Con fans were ready for some bombshell announcements, one of them was a reboot of Blade starring Mahershala Ali.
While there was an uproar of excitement from many fans, there was still a pocket that was disappointed the original Blade, Wesley Snipes, would not be reprising the role.
Comicbook.com was able to get a hold to Snipes who releases a statement letting fans know that he is fine with the decision, even though it caught him off guard.
“To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, chillaaxx,” Snipes said. “Although the news comes as a surprise, it’s ALL GOOD. Such is the ‘business’ of ‘entertainment!’ Much peace to the MCU crew – always a fan. Honor and respect to the grandmaster Stan. Congratulations and Salaam to Mahershala Ali, a beautiful and talented artist whose expressions I look forward to experiencing for many years to come. Inshallah, we will someday work together. Most importantly to my loyal fans, the incredible outpouring of love is overwhelming. I am grateful for the never-ending support. So, ‘nah fret nah worry, it’s not de end of de story.’ Welcome to the Daywalker Klique.”
Nicole Young Accuses Dr. Dre Of Owing Her $1 Million In Legal Fees
Nicole Young is back again with some serious allegations about her ex-husband Dr. Dre.
Dr. Dre’s estranged wife, 51, alleged that the legendary producer owed her money. She called on the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department to help recoup more than $1 million from the producer.
“Andre is doing whatever he wants to do because he is an enormously entitled and well-funded litigant who seeks to exact revenge on his former wife by decimating her financially leaving her without legal representation in this case,” as per new documents received by Radar Online detailed.
According to the Daily Mail, Young’s legal team has documented a writ of commission against the rapper. She accused Dr. Dre of disobeying a court order to pay $1,224,607 in past legal fees, to which he agreed to only pay $300,000, despite the court order.
The documents asked the Sheriff’s Department to “enforce the judgment.
With this order, Young could then continue with obtaining the full amount, which accumulates with interest worth $335 daily, from his bank accounts.
In July, Dr. Drew was expected to pay Young $3.5 million in annual spousal support by a Los Angeles court, as we previously reported. He has authorized a monthly payment of $293,306 that includes payments of their Malibu and Pacific Palisades residences, along with Young’s health insurance.
Young also accused Dr. Are of “holding a gun to my head” around the early 2000s and that he “punched me in the head and face” in 1999.
“Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome,” she revealed in a statement. Young added that the producer denied her claims by explaining the court that “at no time did I ever abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety.”
Young filed for divorce from Dr. Dre in June 2020 after being split for more than two decades of their marriage.
Marvel Exec Says They WIll Not Recast Chadwick Boseman’s ‘Black Panther’ Character in MCU
Following Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death, fans wondered whether the late actor’s Black Panther character T’Challa will ever be seen again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During an appearance on the Ringer-Verse podcast this weekend, Marvel’s VP of Development, Nate More, revealed the studio has no plans of recasting Boseman’s character in any future MCU projects.
“You will not see T’Challa in the MCU 616 universe,” Moore said. “We couldn’t do it. I will say, when Chad passed, it was a real conversation we had with Coogler about ‘what do we do?’ And it was a fast conversation. It wasn’t weeks, it was minutes of, ‘We have to figure out how to move this franchise on without that character.’”
Moore continued, “Because I think we all feel so much of T’Challa in the MCU on the screen, not the comics, is tied to Chadwick’s performance, is what he brought to that role, on and off screen, I would argue. So as hard as it is narratively to figure out what to do because that’s a big hole, at no point did we consider recasting him. So the challenge for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is telling a story without T’Challa.”
Marilyn Manson is accused of locking women in a small, soundproof glass enclosure he called the Bad Girls' Room, report says
Marilyn Manson had a small, soundproof glass enclosure in his West Hollywood, California, apartment that he used to lock up women he was dating, numerous sources alleged in a report published Sunday by Rolling Stone.
Several people who dated the shock rocker, whose real name is Brian Warner, told the outlet the space was a "solitary-confinement cell used to psychologically torture women." Those sources said he called it the "Bad Girls' Room."
"He always had a joking, bragging tone," Ashley Walters, Warner's former assistant who has accused him of sexual assault, said, adding that he liked to tell people about the room.
Warner has mentioned the room himself during media appearances, including in a 2011 interview with V Magazine. In May of this year, Ashley Morgan Smithline, one of numerous women who have accused Warner of abuse, told People magazine he locked her in the room when she "pissed him off."
The singer Phoebe Bridgers wrote in a tweet in February that when she visited Warner's home as a teenager he referred to one of the rooms as the "r*pe room," which she said she thought was "horrible frat boy sense of humor" at the time.
Ryan Brown, another former assistant of Warner's, also told Rolling Stone the room existed, saying "it was common knowledge that's what everybody had called it." He denied ever seeing a woman locked in it.
Attorneys for Warner did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.
Many women have come forward to publicly accuse Warner of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse. Evan Rachel Wood said Warner "horrifically" abused her while they dated from 2007 to 2010. The "Game of Thrones" actor Esmé Bianco is suing Warner, claiming he physically and sexually assaulted her. Walter, his former assistant, is also suing him.
Warner has previously denied the allegations against him, writing in a post shared on Instagram in February that "these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality."
"My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners," he said.
Rolling Stone's report was based on 55 interviews with people who have known Warner. Accusers said the rocker "was able to hide his abuses in plain sight behind the Marilyn Manson character he created and the music industry that supported, and profited from, his living-demon shtick," the outlet wrote.
If you are a survivor of sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800.656.HOPE (4673) or visit their website to receive confidential support
Halle Berry Ruffles Some Feathers by Calling Cardi B the ‘Queen of Hip-Hop’
Halle Berry ruffled the Barbz feathers this past weekend when she referred to Cardi B as the ‘queen of hip-hop’
The fan group definitely feel some type of way whenever someone mentions “Queen of Hip Hop” and doesn’t follow it up with Nicki Minaj’s name.
On Saturday, the award-winning actress hosted the premiere for her new film ‘Bruised,’ which she directed and starred in and thanked Cardi B for curating the all-female soundtrack. During her speech, Halle shared that she reached out to Cardi because “she is the queen of hip hop.”
Now while some people may have agreed with Halle, others begged to differ.
On Sunday, Winnie Harlow got thrown in the mix when she presented Nicki Minaj with the Best Hip Hop Award at MTV’s 2021 Europe Music Awards. Before revealing the winner, Winnie referred to Nicki, “the one and only Queen of Hip Hop.” Now whether this was shade towards Halle’s claim or just a coincidence, it sure had the internet talking.
Whatever!
