#RHOA: OOOOPS! Sheree Whitfield’s Boyfriend Threatens To Take Legal Action Against Bravo Network
We already knew RHOA Sheree Whitfield’s boyfriend was upset with her, but now it seems he has issues with Bravo Network.
Tyrone Gilliams legal team has sent the network a cease and desist letter with claims of unlawful use of his name and likeness. According to TMZ, Gilliams never signed off on Bravo using him as a recurring storyline on the show. Tyrone was often the topic of discussion, even without his presence. Now Gilliams is saying the network profited off his name without his permission.
Tyrone is requesting that the network remove everything that is attached to Gilliams’ name. If Bravo refuses to stop, he is threatening to take legal action.
Bravo has yet to respond to the cease and desist letter.
As for Sheree, Gilliams isn’t speaking with her because filming RHOA almost got him sent back to prison. Whitfield had plans on shooting footage with Tyrone at a restaurant. Typically this wouldn’t be a problem, but Gilliams is currently sentenced to home confinement.

Adele’s “30” enjoyed the biggest opening numbers of any blockbuster album in 2021, as expected, with 839,000 album-equivalent units, according to an announcement by Billboard Sunday night.
Adele’s big premiere beats the previous mark set by Drake’s “Certifiable Lover Boy” when it bowed with 613,000 back in September. It also comes in ahead of Taylor Swift’s “Red (Taylor’s Version),” which just a week ago had the second-biggest debut of the year, with 905,000 album units, and now is bumped to the third most sizable of 2021.
The biggest part of Adele’s tally came in full-album sales, as was true of Swift’s massive debut last week. These two superstars are generally regarded as the last two who are guaranteed to sell massive amounts of physical product — CDs as well as the more in-vogue vinyl versions. “30” racked up a staggering 692,000 in actual album sales, by far the most for any release this year.
But “30” was no slouch in the streaming world either, registering 185 million on-demand streams during its first week out, according to Billboard.
Although vinyl sales can outdo CD sales for many artists nowadays, Adele fans were attracted first and foremost to the compact disc, so Swift’s “Red (Taylor’s Version)” still holds the record for the most LPs sold in a week.
Adele’s album sales amounted to 378,000 as CDs and 108,000 in the vinyl format. (Variety previously reported that Sony Music had pressed over a half-million LP copies of “30” to be ready for the holiday season and beyond.) Digital album sales came in between those two formats, with 205,000 downloads sold. A cassette version sold exclusively in the artist’s web store sold just under 2,000 to serious completists.
The numbers are indisputably huge by today’s standards, although the unit figure doesn’t come close to matching what Adele’s previous album, “25,” did when it came out six years ago. In the land of 2015, a very different time for physical sales and mind-boggling album numbers, “25” debuted with 3.38 million copies, still an all-time record.
With Adele’s album having been released just a week before Black Friday promotions that saw Adele racks being positioned at the front of Target stores, she’s due for another big sales number next week, and a likely stronghold on the No, 1 position for the remainder of 2021, with no other superstar releases currently scheduled to come out.
The other debut in Billboard’s top 10 was “Raising the Roof,” Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ first joint album in 14 years. It came in at No. 7 with 40,000 album units. As with Adele, Plant and Krauss have a mature audience that primarily wants to own the new record and not stream it. Of that 40K figure, 38,000 were full album sales.
Among holdovers, “Red (Taylor’s Version)” was not surprisingly the biggest returning album, slipping to No. 2 with 159,000 album-equivalent units in week two.
Drake’s album moved up a couple of spots to No. 3, Silk Sonic’s collaborative debut fell two spots to No. 4, Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” moved up one notch to No. 5, and Summer Walker’s “Still Over It” fell a couple spots to No. 6 in its third week.
Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour” moved back into the top 10 at No. 8. Michael Buble’s “Christmas,” which just got a re-release with new bonus tracks, became the first holiday album to bump its way into the upper ranks this year, landing at No. 9.

#HipHopNews: Teyana Taylor Hospitalized For Exhaustion
Teyana Taylor found herself in a hospital bed instead of the stage. Before her “Femme It Forward” show in Mashantucket, Conn. on Saturday (Nov. 27), the R&B singer was rushed to the emergency room and was forced to cancel her performance after her body “shut down.”
Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed, while thanking her fans for their support.
“Thank you for being so understanding,” wrote Teyana. “Y’all know Petunia don’t miss no shows & most importantly, know I’ve been leaving it all on tha stage for a month straight 1000%. So I am really saddened to have not been able to do the same for you last night.”
While she tried her best, she wasn’t physically able to get on stage. “My team & I tried everything down to the very last second to get me out on that stage, but my body simply just gave out, which actually started a few days ago. SHUT DOWN, my body actually low key betrayed me cause ah bitch was tryna get on that stage.”
She continued, “Y’all know I’m with the shits! y’all have seen me with a broken foot and all types of other crazy shit but still got on that stage and bodied it 😩😩 But honestly you have to listen to your body and know when to sit down; or it will definitely sit you down….. in the ER.”
She will take some time off to recover before returning to the road. “I’ve since got the proper fluids and nutrients put back into my body all night/morning & will take the next few off days to continue to recover.”
She thanked her tourmates Ari Lennox and Sevyn Streeter, as well as her daughter Junie, for holding things down in her absence. She plans to reschedule the Connecticut show and will honor tickets for a new date.
The “Femme It Forward” show is part of Teyana’s final “Last Rose Petal…Farewell Tour,” which kicked off earlier this month. She plans to retire from music once the tour wraps.
Twitter's Jack Dorsey is steepping DOWN as CEO And CTO Parag Agrawal will replace him!
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is stepping down as chief of the social media company, effective immediately. Parag Agrawal, the company’s chief technology officer, will take over the helm, the company said Monday.
Dorsey, 45, was serving as both the CEO of Twitter and Square, his digital payments company. Dorsey will remain a member of the Board until his term expires at the 2022 meeting of stockholders, the company said.
“I’ve decided to leave Twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders,” Dorsey said in a statement.
Agrawal will have to meet Twitter’s aggressive internal goals. The company said earlier this year it aims to have 315 million monetizable daily active users by the end of 2023 and to at least double its annual revenue in that year.
Dorsey faced an ousting last year when Twitter stakeholder Elliott Management had sought to replace him. Elliott Management founder and billionaire investor Paul Singer had wondered whether Dorsey should run both of the public companies, calling for him to step down as CEO of one of them, before the investment firm reached a deal with the company’s management.
Dorsey, who co-founded the social media giant in 2006, served as CEO until 2008 before being pushed out of the role. He returned to Twitter as boss in 2015 after former CEO Dick Costolo stepped down.
Shares have jumped 85% since Dorsey took over as CEO Oct 5. 2015. Meantime, Square shares have surged 1,566% since its Nov. 19, 2015 initial public offering.

Many of Broadway’s biggest stars gathered in Times Square on Sunday (November 28) to honor the life and legacy of late composer Stephen Sondheim, two days after his death.

The 2021 Soul Train Awards aired on BET and saw Maxwell receive the legend award and Ashanti crowned as “Lady of Soul.” Both R&B/Soul superstars delivered performances during the evening. Additional big winners include Silk SOnic and Jazmine Sullivan.
For the very first time, the “Soul Train Awards” took place at the World Famous Apollo in Harlem, NYC, and dynamic best-friend duo Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold returned as co-hosts.
R&B/Soul super duo Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic’s performance of “Fly As Me” kicked off the evening and they closed with their new single “Smokin’ Out The Window.”
Ari Lennox brought “Pressure” to the stage and singer/songwriter Lucky Daye had the audience swooning with a sultry performance of his hit song “Over.” Gospel singer Fred Hammond made his set the “Soul Train Tabernacle Awards,” with his single “Yahweh.” Additional performers included BET Amplified artists Marzz and Elhae.
The AT&T Soul Cypher made a return with DJ D-Nice on the boards and featured the talents of Tone Stith, Koryn Hawthorne, Jac Ross, Elle Varner, and Musiq Soulchild.
In the second half of the show, Leon Bridges and Summer Walker lit up the stage with their performances.

A morning drink stop in Los Angeles turned out to be a chance encounter with Kim Kardashian West and Pete Davidson for one lucky tourist.
via: Page Six: “OMG MAKE ME CRAZY! SITTING NEXT TO KIM KARDASHIAN AND PETE DAVIDSON FOR BREAKFAST!” wrote Paul Barewijk, the excited tourist who uploaded two pics to his Instagram account shortly after the encounter.
Barewijk, a Dutch music journalist, revealed that he was chatting on the phone with his mom when he first recognized Davidson, 28, inside the Los Angeles establishment. Moments later, he realized the “SNL” star was there with his 41-year-old girlfriend.
“It seemed like a true date,” he exclusively told Page Six, noting that it looked like the pair were definitely “more than” friends.
“No kissing, but they were very close with each other,” he added.
Ironically, Barewijk had just taken photos of the Skims x Fendi pop-up nearby, and showed them to Kardashian before they snapped a pic together.
“I asked her for a photo. She said, ‘OK, sure,’ and I asked Pete to take the photo. So he did. We took two photos,” Barewijk told People.
The excited fan then asked Davidson specifically for a selfie, which, as you can see in the pic below, he happily obliged.
“I told him that people in The Netherlands like him because of ‘SNL’,” the Dutch tourist explained.
As previously reported, Kardashian and Davidson started dating shortly after the reality star appeared on “Saturday Night Live” as a guest host.
Since then, the two have seemingly been inseparable, recently holding hands in public, giggling in the car and celebrating Davidson’s birthday together.
Kim and Pete definitely seem to be having fun.
GoFundMe for exonerated Kevin Strickland the Missouri Black man reaches $1.5 million
Kevin Strickland will receive the full amount of the donations as soon as he has a bank account.
Over $1.5 million has been donated to a GoFundMe page created for Kevin Strickland — a Black man who spent more than 40 years in a Missouri prison for a triple murder he did not commit. Thousands of supporters have flocked to the page in recent days, boosting the amount significantly after a Missouri Court of Appeals judge ordered Strickland’s immediate release and overturned his conviction on Tuesday (Nov. 23).
According to The New York Times, Strickland currently does not have a bank account, a phone or a government-issued ID. But all that should change soon. Tricia Rojo Bushnell, one of Strickland’s lawyers and the executive director of the Midwest Innocence Project, organized the online fundraiser. She told The Times that Strickland will receive the full amount of the donations as soon as he has a bank account. The Midwest Innocence Project also plans to provide the 62-year-old with a financial adviser to help him handle his money.
Raising funds for newly released clients is part of what the Missouri-based nonprofit does but Bushnell told The Times she was surprised by the amount raised for Strickland. “I think for all of us it’s hopeful, right?” she said. “Until the system has changed where the system is failing, the community is stepping in to fix it, to fill the void. It’s pretty amazing.”
Strickland’s lawyers said that since he was exonerated without DNA evidence, he was disqualified from being compensated by the state of Missouri, despite spending well over half of his life behind bars. “The courts failed me and that’s who should be trying to make my life a little more comfortable,” Strickland told The Times a few days after his release. “I really do appreciate the donations and contributions they made to try to help me acclimate to society.”
As reported, in 1978 Strickland was arrested when he was 18 years old and accused of killing three people in Kansas City. The following year, he was sentenced to life in prison after an all-white jury found him guilty of one count of capital murder and two counts of second-degree murder. There was no physical evidence tying Strickland to the crime, but the shooting’s lone survivor, Cynthia Douglas, identified him as one of the gunmen to police. She later said she misidentified Strickland and reached out to the Midwest Innocence Project in an effort to free him before her death in 2015.
Soon, Strickland will be a millionaire and he plans on leaving Missouri and pursuing his dream of buying a small piece of land outside of a city. “I’ll build a small house, a small bedroom, two-to three-bedroom house, have me some chickens and four to five dogs, a fishing pond somewhere close by, a big fence where nobody can get in,” he told The Times. “Just some alone time, some getaway space.”

Legendary star Law Roach has shared the news that his nephew Lamar has died at the age of three after falling from a building.

Law is best known as a celebrity stylist, rising to fame as a result of his role as a judge on the HBO Max reality series Legendary, which explores the world of ball culture.

While the Thanksgiving box office didn’t deliver the typically strong results that the movie theater industry has come to expect in the last decade, ticket sales for new titles fueled confidence that a recovery is well underway.
Over the five-day holiday weekend, moviegoers in the U.S. and Canada spent around $142 million on tickets for movies like “Encanto,” “House of Gucci” and “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” according to data from Comscore.
The haul is not as robust as previous years, where ticket sales often topped $250 million, but it showcases consumer confidence in returning to cinemas amidst the pandemic.
“This weekend again showed how the box office continues to take baby steps in the long-term pandemic rebound,” said Shawn Robbins, chief analyst at BoxOffice.com. “Many consumers remain cautious, especially with new Covid variants making headlines.”
Topping the box office was Disney’s “Encanto,” which tallied an estimated $40.3 million between Wednesday and Sunday. While this figure is much smaller than the recent Thanksgiving releases by Disney, including “Frozen II,” which garnered $130 million during the five-day frame, it’s a positive side for the movie industry that families are feeling more comfortable returning to cinemas.
Family-friendly films, especially animated films, have largely underperformed during the pandemic, as parents have kept their unvaccinated kids at home. With vaccination rates on the rise and the recent approval of a vaccine for kids aged five to 11, there is hope that the box office will see significant improvements in the coming months.
“House of Gucci,” distributed by MGM and Universal, snared an estimated $21.2 million domestically during the long weekend. Aimed at older viewers, some box office analysts worried that the film would not generate significant gains over the Thanksgiving period. During the pandemic, older audiences have been the slowest to return to cinemas and their absence has been felt for titles like “No Time to Die” and “The Last Duel.”
″‘Encanto’ and ‘House of Gucci’ each made considerable strides toward bringing back families and adult moviegoers, respectively, without the draw of a franchise title,” said Robbins. ”‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ also began to show its potential for staying power through the holiday season.”
Released a week before Thanksgiving, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” added an estimated $35.2 million to its domestic tally. The film is expected to near $90 million in ticket sales in the U.S. and Canada for its first two weeks in theaters.
“In any given year, the Thanksgiving frame is a barometer to measure how the final weeks of the box-office will play out,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Comscore. “The industry should be very encouraged by the strong support of consumers of the big screen experience heading further into the holidays and into 2022.”

Mel B. Axed from Adele TV Special Due to ‘Spicy’ (Vibrator) Joke
*Mel B. aka Scary Spice may be in the news infrequently in the United States, but she’s still pretty big in her native Great Britain.
Indeed, she was even asked to appear on an ITV segment paying homage to singer Adele, the current limey R&B export from across the pond.
However, according to the Sun, Mel B. was removed from the segment because of joke about a sex toy that flopped. Mel was given a question to ask Adele about the best gift she had ever received. However, Mel decided to “spice” it up a bit by ad-libbing the vibrator joke which got her segment cut from the show, “An Audience with Adele” TV special.
“When the cameras were on her, she said she felt silly asking it,” the source said. “Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator.”
“No one really laughed, but Adele made a wisecrack about it and moved on,” the source told the newspaper, adding that the “Wannabe” singer was just being “her usual brilliant self.”
ITV reportedly decided to pull the segment because the show would be broadcast to a wide audience, many of whom are minors.
‘His Colorism Jumped Out’: Radio Personality Ebro Gets Dragged for Resurfaced Video Saying Singer Tinashe Is Too Light-Skinned to Have a Ghetto Name, Which Is Actually an African Name
Radio personality Ebro is under fire after an old video of him making a bigoted statement about singer Tinashe’s last name resurfaced on the internet. His remarks were racialized in two different ways. First, he said that she was too light to have such a ghetto name, and then he implied that her multisyllabic African name was ghetto.
The clip was from a 2013 interview that Ibrahim “Ebro” Darden and Peter Rosenberg from the Hot 97 radio program “Morning Show” conducted with the singer.
During her introduction, Ebro asks for her to say her last name, which is Kachingwe. When she answers his request, he blurts out, “Can we point out how light-skinned she is with the ghetto a-s name, though?”
Rosenberg, a Jewish man, in disbelief says, “It’s not a ghetto a-s name. She has an African name.”
Ebro then says, “Yeah, but sometimes these ghetto names are actually African.”
Rosenberg then says that he believes what’s most interesting is how light-skinned she is and that her name is “completely African.” After which, Tinashe reveals that she is bi-racial and that her father is from Zimbabwe and her mother is a Scandinavian white woman that grew up in Iowa.
The resurfacing of this interview had Ebro trending during the holiday and proved that nothing ever dies on the internet. Ebro, who in 2019 was appointed Apple Music’s Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop and R&B, took to his social media to address what he called a tasteless joke. He wrote, “Yea this was a terrible joke, we were using the name skit for people to learn her origins… love Tinashe thats my homey still.”
That did not seem to be enough for others offended by the joke.
Many went to Twitter to point out how disrespectful the joke was, but to assert that the influencer has had a long history of being “colorist.”
“So #Ebro associates dark skin with being ‘ghetto’?? He acts like having light skin makes it impossible for you to be deemed ‘ghetto’ His COLORISM jumped out Is he even black or is he a cultural appropriator? Since when are African names ‘ghetto’? #” writes Team Kandi Always.
Another Twitter user said, “Ebro has a Long History of being Colorist & Disrespectful to black women. He claims it was a joke? Just stop! #ebro”
Others on the social media platform marveled at how Peter Rosenberg appeared to be more sensitive to the nuances of name origin than his co-host.
“If Rosenberg is more Black Knowledgeable than You and You’re Black, it’s a Issue #Ebro #Rosenberg#Tinashe #HOT97 #HipHop #BreakingNews” tweeted someone else.
So, what does one do when they are being dragged? They accept their licks. In an effort to make the best out of a bad situation, Ebro began reposting comments about the “terrible joke” and agreed with the public that he should not have made the comments.
The most transparent of his posts came when he tweeted out, “Complete L, but I play dumb in many interviews so I can be the ‘heel’, Im taking the flames now. People should be mad at me, especially those that don’t know me. I have apologized. Feel free to keep cooking me, makes sense.”

Ex-girlfriend of Former NFL Player Zac Stacy Testifies That She Fears For Her Safety Following The Violent Assault
On Wednesday, the ex-girlfriend of former NFL player Zac Stacy took the stand to say she fears for the safety of her and her two children.
On November 13, Stacy was caught on camera violently assaulting his ex-girlfriend Kristin Evans in Oakland, Florida.
“I was punched, slapped, literally picked up and thrown into my TV and then (he) picked me up and slammed me into my son’s bouncy seat by my throat. This is not the first time he has been violent with me. I am afraid for my safety and for my children’s safety,” Evans told 9th Circuit Judge Mark S. Blechman.
A joint motion was filed by the Office of the State Attorney and Evans in November, in which Evans said that she specifically fears for her life, CNN reported.
The victim asked the court to increase Stacy’s bond and requested that he be placed on home confinement. However, it was a request that Blechman ultimately denied.
Evans posted the graphic video from the incident on her Instagram account, and it quickly went viral. She has publicly called on the NFL “to confront the reality that players are experiencing PTSD from their time playing pro-football.”
Evans wanted to testify during Stacy’s first court appearance on November 19 but couldn’t because the hearing began earlier than it was scheduled to, according to the joint motion filed the same day. The motion requested that she be allowed to testify and that the judge reconsider the bond amount.
During Stacy’s first court appearance, a judge set his bond at $10,150 and ordered him to have no contact with the victim. He was also ordered to surrender his passport and firearms, according to CNN affiliate WESH.
According to court records, Stacy has been charged with Aggravated Battery (Great Bodily Harm) and Criminal Mischief. He bonded out of Orange County Jail over the weekend.
Evans said in court that his recent release has caused her to be too afraid to return home.
“My injuries from this incident are serious and likely permanent from what I’ve been told,” she said without specifying.
During Wednesday’s proceeding, Stacy’s attorney, Thomas Luka, said that his client has changed his address to Alabama and lives with his mother or brother. Luka also told the court he did not believe Stacy poses as a threat to Evans any longer.
Stacy informed the judge there were no firearms inside this home. The judge ordered that Stacy may not be in the presence of a gun.
It was also disclosed that the former NFLer plans on going to a 30-day inpatient treatment facility program and then going home to live with his mother or brother.
Luka says the inpatient treatment program he will enter on December 1 is for mental health.
“He has had ongoing mental health issues for a number of years. This is in an inpatient intensive treatment program for mental health issues,” Luka said over the phone.
One important condition that Stacy must obey is that he should have “absolutely no contact” with the victim, including through family members.
The judge added another key condition to the former NFL player’s bond; he could no longer enter the state of Florida unless traveling for a court appearance.
A.E. Apologizes To Amber Rose For Cheating, Says He Wants His Family Back
Kanye West is not the only one who wants to reunite his family.
Amber Rose’s boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, is putting out a public plea to get his girlfriend back after they broke up over his infidelity. In a message, which he shared Saturday on Instagram Stories, the music executive apologized to the mother of his son for the “pain” caused by his indiscretions.
“I want to sincerely apologize to my beautiful wife @amberrose you didn’t deserve what I did to you,” wrote A.E. “You’re an Amazing person and a wonderful mother to our boys. I’m sorry for the pain that I’ve caused you, my son Slash and my stepson Sebastian.”
He also offered to do whatever it takes to make things right. “All I want is my family back and I’m willing to do anything to make things right. Please Forgive me,” he said.
Back in August, Rose put her boyfriend on blast for allegedly cheating on her with at least 12 different women. A.E. admitted to his infidelity at the time.
“I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes,” she said. “All 12 of y’all bums( The ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him. Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to f**k him anyway.”
According to Rose, this was the last straw in the relationship. “I can’t be the only one fighting for my family anymore. I’ve been so loyal and transparent but I haven’t gotten the same energy in return,” she added. “The lack of loyalty and the disrespect is ridiculous and I’m done.”
The model has not responded to A.E.’s apology. The couple, who started dating in September 2018, share a 2-year-old son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. Rose also has a son, Sebastian, with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa
Matthew McConaughey Says He Will Not Run For Texas Governor
Matthew McConaughey, 52, announced Sunday night that he will not run for governor of Texas, ahead of a Dec. 13 deadline to file for the Republican or Democratic primary or to declare as an independent candidate.
After years of considering political office in the Lone Star state, the actor had decided against it, he said in a three-minute speech posted to Twitter Sunday evening.
“As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership,” McConaughey said. “It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I am choosing not to take at this moment.”
McConaughey — who had not even announced a party affiliation — was outperforming both Republican Gov. Greg Abbot and Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke according to a poll released last week.
Flanked between the Stars and Stripes and the Texas State flag, McConaughey said he had been exploring the question of “how I can be most useful in this life going forward.”
“I’ve been listening, I’ve been learning, I’ve been measuring. I’ve been studying Texas politics and American politics,” the “Dallas Buyers Club” star said.
“What have I learned? A lot. That we have some problems we need to fix. That our politics need new purpose. That we have divides that need healing.”
Ultimately though, McConaughey said he would leave that work to “the leaders and the servants out there,” while working to help organizations that “have a mission to serve and build trust while also building prosperity.”
40 percent of Texans said they would like McConaughey to trade Hollywood for politics according to a recent poll.
“What am I going to do? I’m going to continue to work and invest the bounty I have by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses and foundations that I believe are leaders,” he said.
About 40 percent of Texans — including 49 percent of Democrats — had told pollsters they wanted McConaughey to trade Hollywood for the Austin statehouse.
Jimmie Allen’s 6-Week-Old Daughter ‘Off Oxygen’ Amid Hospitalization
After a five-day hospital stay, Jimmie Allen’s 6-week-old daughter is going home.
via: Page Six: “Zara is off oxygen, breathing on her own,” the country star, 36, shared via Instagram Stories over the weekend. “Hopefully she stays like this and can go home soon. Thanks everyone for the well wishes, positive energy and prayers.”
Jimmie’s wife, Alexis Allen, also shared a lengthy post to her own Instagram, revealing that Zara has been struggling with symptoms of RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus).
“On Tuesday night I was traveling on the tour bus from [Nashville] to be closer to family knowing that Jimmie had a busy week with work,” Alexis, 25, recalled. “Zara had been resting the majority of the ride but around 10 p.m. she woke up with a coughing fit for well over 10 mins. Knowing this is something we went through before, I decide to turn the shower on and let the steam help open her airways up a bit. Tried suctioning. Chest rubs. Nothing seemed to work.”
Alexis revealed that around 10:30 p.m., Zara was “unresponsive” in her arms and “turning color” as they frantically called 911 and asked the drivers to pull over.
“The longest 15 minutes of my life. My baby was so so tired her muscles had given up on her,” she shared. “I did everything under the sun to keep her awake and thank god it seemed to work. She was soon in the ambulance with oxygen and finally started to regain her color.”
Alexis went on to thank the first responders and doctors who “saved my daughters life.”
“I never got your names but I am so unbelievably thankful for you,” she wrote. “To the nurses, respiratory therapist and doctors at U of M Shore Medical & AI DuPont – thank you for continuing to find answers and providing amazing care to my baby.”
Alexis also urged fellow parents to “please go with your gut instinct” in emergency situations like this one.
“I wish I would’ve taken action sooner, but I am so incredibly thankful to have another day of being her mama,” she admitted.
In addition to Zara, Jimmie and Alexis are also parents to daughter Naomi Bettie, 1. The “Dancing With the Stars” alum is also dad to son Aadyn, 7, from a previous relationship.
“The one thing I can say about being a parent, you learn things about yourself,” Jimmie told Page Six and other reporters during a post-”DWTS” presser last month. “This new baby girl, I’m curious to see what challenges she’ll put in front of me. I’m curious to see what weakness of mine she’s going to highlight.”
