#RHOA: Kenya Moore Opens Up About Attending Gregg Leakes’ Funeral Despite Past Feuding!
A show of support. Despite Kenya Moore’s past drama with former Real Housewives of Atlanta costar NeNe Leakes, she still felt it was important to attend Gregg Leakes‘ memorial service.
“I was there to support,” Moore, 50, told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, September 8. “Gregg never, ever treated me any differently whether I was feuding with NeNe or not. And for that, I respected him so much, and he was just a kind, gentle, caring, supportive man, and she was really lucky to have him.”
She The Dancing With the Stars contestant added, “Honestly, he is one of the nicest men I ever met in my life. To be there was a no-brainer.”

Moore noted that she flew into Atlanta for the memorial service last week.
“I flew in for the memorial, the repass,” she told the outlet. “I think it was everything [NeNe] probably wanted it to be because people were happy, and I think he would’ve wanted people to be happy because his life was so full and so beautiful and he was such a great person. So even though it was hard for me to be there, it seemed like she got what she wanted, for people to smile, and I think he would’ve been happy about that.”

The Glee alum, 53, previously hosted a celebration of life for her late husband one week after his death at her Linnethia Lounge on Monday, September 6. Several of her former RHOA costars, including Moore, Lisa Wu, Phaedra Parks, Marlo Hampton, Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille, attended.
“Today we celebrate you Gregg with love, just the way you wanted it💔,” NeNe captioned an Instagram post earlier that day, alongside a throwback photo of the couple.
Gregg died on September 1 after his battle with stage III colon cancer. He was 66.

“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart,” NeNe’s publicist said in a statement at the time. “After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes. We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”

Hours after Gregg’s death, several of NeNe’s former Bravo colleagues paid tribute.
“I am heartbroken over the passing of Gregg Leakes, a wonderful man,” Housewives producer Andy Cohen tweeted at the time. “I jokingly called him ‘Pastor Leakes’ but in truth he was a strong voice of reason & commanded great respect among the entire #RHOA team.  I am sending love and strength to @neneleakes & the entire Leakes family.”

Williams, 40, Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey also shared their support.
“Heartbroken💔 So many good times & so many amazing memories,” Bailey, 54, tweeted. “Gregg was always so loving, funny & kind. So blessed to have had him in my life. Sending my heartfelt condolences to @NeNeLeakes and her family. Thinking of you & my heart and prayers are with you.🙏🏽❤

#HipHopNews: Swizz Beatz Responds To Drake Diss On ‘Certified Lover Boy’!
Swizz Beatz is leaving his beef with Drake behind. The super-producer is addressing their feud in the wake of Drake’s diss on Certified Lover Boy. On “You Only Live Twice,” the Toronto rapper takes shots at his “Fancy” collaborator.

“Unthinkable when I think of the way these ni**as been actin’,” he raps. “Yeah, I never did nothin’ and you play like we family, huh? / Next thing, you wanna shoot me down, it can’t be love / Not sure where you was tryna send it, it can’t be up / That day you sounded like a bitch, you fancy, huh?”
The diss followed Swizz’ Instagram Live rant against Drake last year when discussing a J Dilla-produced collaboration between Drake and Busta Rhymes.
“He’s not a bad kid, he’s a good kid. He started from different things. We made hit records together, it’s all love. I don’t want no problems with anything,” Swizz said. “At the end of the day, ni**as is pussy for real. What’s up? Pop off. Let’s go.”

Swizz also said “shoot your plane out the sky,” a possible reference to Drake’s private jet designed by Virgil Abloh. Swizz later addressed his comments. “Spoke on some things that I definitely shouldn’t have spoke on,” he said, prompting Drake’s right-hand-man Chubbs to respond. “We don’t need no apology. It’s clear you don’t like us so act that same way when you see us. Pussy.”

Now Swizz is addressing Drake’s CLB diss. During an interview with Timbaland on Angie Martinez’ Power 105.1 show, the Verzuz founder downplayed the rivalry.
“I’m cool,” he said when Angie questioned his relationship with Drake, while admitting that he likes the song. “I actually like the song, song’s dope. It’s cool, man.”

Angie suggested to Swizz that he started the beef. “People might think I started it because the way I came at it, but I never say things for no reason…But it’s cool, that was something that’s old.”

While he respects the competitive spirit of hip-hop, Swizz doesn’t plan to respond. “It started off with two artists feeling some type of way, going at each other, and this, that, and the third,” he continued. “I’m chillin’, man. A lot of people wanna see me react and do all these things. I’m in such a great zone, man. I said how I felt, he said how he felt. Hey, man, I guess we even, right? As far as now, I’m good. I’m man enough to be like, ‘OK, he said how he felt.'”

Swizz also acknowledged that Drake could have taken more shots. “And I actually like the song. And he didn’t go too crazy in the record also. He could’ve said many things, that man is a clever artist…He could of really, really, really gave me about 40 bars. Blessings to everybody.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Swizz revealed that Kanye West wanted to do a Verzuz battle with his rival. “Kanye was willing to do the Verzuz … He wanted to battle Drake,” Swizz said. “I left that up to them, and that’s what I told to Timb, as well. I was like, ‘Yo, they have to bring that to the table.’ They would have to agree to do that. Kanye was ready, but I don’t know where that’s at now. I’m still leaving it on them.”

Queen Latifah’s Dog Allegedly Killed By Cesar Millan’s Pit Bull!
Cesar Millan may want to consider whispering to his own dogs.
In a new lawsuit, Lidia Matiss, claims that Cesar Millan’s, 52, pit bull attacked her and also claims it killed Queen Latifah’s dog.
Matiss also alleges in the legal documents that the ‘dog whisper’ tried to cover up the incident.

Lidia Matiss, who is a promising young gymnast, claims that in 2017, she was visiting her mother in Van Nuys, California at work, which the building is reportedly owned by Millan.

According to her claim, Cesar Millan’s pit bull was allegedly roaming the halls without supervision or a leash, when the dog reportedly bit her legs and left calf.
Matiss was immediately rushed to the emergency room to find that the injures were more severe than she thought.
Matiss lawyers claim that Millan’s pit bull, Junior, has a history of violence and has bitten several people and severely attacked other dogs like Queen Latifah’s.

The lawsuit claims that Latifah bought two dogs from Milan’s Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita, California, and one was allegedly mauled to death by Junior. It also claims that Millan covered it up by saying it was hit by a car.
Cesar Millan rose to fame following his show ‘Dog Whisperer’ which first aired in 2004. Since then, he has worked with many celebrities and their four-legged friends for various reasons ranging from behavioral to anxiety.

Milan has responded to the lawsuit and reportedly claims that Mantiss assumed the risk of being attacked by Junior because she knew the danger. He also felt she was being negligent but did not further explain as to why or how.

The pit bull in question, Junior, died at the age of 15 back in July.
Do you believe in the ‘dog whisperer?’

Will Wendy Williams Recover In Time For The ‘Wendy Williams Show’ Premiere On Sept. 20?!
Will Wendy Williams recover in time to take her purple chair for the ‘Wendy Williams Show’ premiere on Sept. 20?

That’s the question on Wendy staff minds this week.
via Page Six: “People are tight-lipped about it, but there are whispers that she won’t be there,” one Wendy source told us.
Production staff returned to the office last week, but the 57-year-old “How You Doin?” host has not been back to the studio since she’s been on hiatus, we’re told.
She announced on Thursday that she would have to cancel all appearances next week to promote her show due to health problems.

“Wendy is dealing with some ongoing health issues and is undergoing further evaluations. She will not be able to complete her promotional activities next week, but can’t wait to be back on her purple chair on Monday, September 20th for the 13th season premiere,” a statement posted on the show’s Instagram read.

On Friday, video footage showed an exhausted-looking Williams arriving to her apartment building wearing blue hospital socks and a robe, escorted by her manager Bernie Young.

Williams has been candid with her audience about her health, including her ongoing battle with Graves’ Disease.
In 2019, a slew of guest hosts including Nick Cannon, Jerry O’Connell and Sherri Shepherd filled in for her as she stepped away to treat the disease.
Another show insider, however, insisted “Sept. 20 is the premiere” and that there are currently no talks of guest hosts filling in for Williams when the show returns.

We’re wishing Wendy the best and that she gets well soon.

Pop Smoke’s Gravesite Vandalized, Suspects Tried To Pull Casket Out!
Pop Smoke’s gravesite was vandalized early Saturday morning at Brooklyn’s Greenwood Cemetary where it appeared the suspects tried to pull his casket out.
The suspects visited the mausoleum where Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, was laid to rest and apparently smashed the marble plaque covering his coffin. According to TMZ, drag marks were also seen in the photos where it was apparent that the vandals tried to remove the casket from the tomb after removing the slab that divided his coffin from the one above it.

Currently, it is unclear if his casket was damaged or removed from the mausoleum but the witness has warned security about the incident. Hours later, they came back and said the rapper’s plaque was replaced with a blank slab with caution tape around the site.
There were no further details surrounding the vandalism and it is unknown when his plaque will be replaced. The rapper’s family nor the police have released a statement regarding the incident.

Fans also reacted to the news and asked who would commit an act towards the rapper’s resting place.

Jennifer Hudson is one award shy of an EGOT with recent Emmy win!
Jennifer Hudson is on the verge of making history. The 39-year-old won a Daytime Emmy Award on Thursday for her role as an executive producer on “Baba Yaga,” a virtual reality animated film made for Oculus Quest, as reported by Variety.

With the Emmy now under her belt, Hudson is just a Tony Award away from completing her EGOT — Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony wins.
Hudson would be only the second Black woman and the third Black person in general to earn EGOT status following Whoopi Goldberg and John Legend, respectively.
To celebrate her latest win, Hudson flashed a gold “EGO” ring on Instagram.

“I’ve had this ring for quite some time! For me it always represented this day, the day I would say I have an EGO,” the “Respect” actress captioned the pic. “Emmy, Grammy and Oscar!”
Hudson won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2007 for her role in “Dreamgirls.”

She also has two Grammy Awards on her shelf — one for her self-titled album, which won Best R&B album in 2009, and another from “The Color Purple” soundtrack winning Best Musical Theater album in 2017.
The “American Idol” alum came close to a Tony Award for “The Color Purple” in 2016 but was surprisingly snubbed from the production’s four nominations that year.

Jennifer Hudson placed seventh on the 2004 season of “American Idol.”

At the time, Hudson didn’t seem pleased by the nomination snub from the Tonys.

“My presence was used for my celebrity, not my talent. I’m not surprised,” she tweeted-then-deleted to a fan after nominations had been revealed, according to E! News.

“He’s an angel, but he’s a hungry angel,” the Spider-Man actress joked of her son, who was, at the time the piece was written, four months old and 18 pounds. “And a heavy angel.”

Dunst revealed she was expecting a second child when she appeared, pregnant, in W Magazine in March, in photos shot by The Virgin Suicides and Marie Antionette director Sofia Coppola.
Dunst and Plemons, who met in 2015 while working on Fargo, welcomed their first child, a son named Ennis, in 2018. They got engaged in 2017, but have yet to tie the knot.

Dunst told People in 2019 of their engagement, “My mom was like, ‘But when are you guys getting married?’ And I said, ‘Mom, I’m not going to get married when I’m pregnant. I want to have fun and have a drink. I mean, we’re paying for this wedding. I’m paying for the bar! I want to enjoy it.’”

The Bring It On star also shared that she and the Friday Night Lights alum met just in time.
“If I hadn’t met Jesse, I would have frozen my eggs,” she noted to the outlet. “It feels like I lucked out.”

Nicki Minaj Pulls Out From Performing At 2021 MTV VMAs!
Nicki Minaj has announced she will no longer perform at the MTV Video Music Awards show.
On Thursday, Minaj told her fanbase via Twitter that she would not perform at the award show set to take place at New York City’s Barclays Center on September 12, Billboard reported.

A Twitter user asked the New York rapper, “Are you performing at the VMAs?????? #barBIA A MAYBE IS OKAY TOO @NICKIMINAJ.” The star responded by saying, “I just pulled out. I’ll explain why another day. But I love those guys at MTV. thank you Bruce. I love you so much. Next year we there baby.”
Minaj was never a confirmed performer of the show. MTV has yet to release a statement on the matter.
Minaj’s last performance at the VMAs was in 2018.

Lorde also dropped out from performing at this year’s VMAs, basing her decision on safety protocols surrounding her planned concept.
“We were planning this insanely amazing many-bodied intimate dance performance, not fully understanding the (very necessary!) safety protocols that are in place, and the masking and distancing just meant it wasn’t gonna be what I dreamed, and you know I can’t make something less than outstanding for you guys,” the singer wrote.

Nicki has yet to say her reason for dropping out.
MTV tweeted that Normani would perform her new hit single “Wild Side.” Ed Sheeran, Nessa Barrett, and Claire Rosinkraz are also announced as this year’s performers.

The VMAs will air live on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, Paramount+, and a few other streaming services.

Jaheim Arrested On Animal Cruelty Charges!
Jaheim Hoagland has been arrested on animal cruelty charges after 15 dogs were discovered living in deplorable conditions at his home.
According to the New York Daily News, police went to the R&B singer’s home in Hillsborough, New Jersey on Monday morning (Sept. 6) to investigate a report of a “puppy in distress.”

They ended up finding six dogs in the driveway. One of them, a mixed breed pit bull terrier, was initially unresponsive in a water-filled crate and had to be euthanized.
“Additional dogs were found inside of separate crates which were partially filled with several inches of water and dog feces,” prosecutors said
Jaheim, 43, was arrested outside the home before cops heard barking coming from inside the house, where they discovered nine more dogs “in varying stages of emaciation” and without access to food or water.

Two of the dogs were taken to an emergency vet clinic. All 14 surviving dogs, including 12 mixed breed pit bull terriers, one American Staffordshire terrier, and one mixed breed boxer, were later taken to Long Hill Kennel in Hillsborough.

Jaheim, known for hits like “Put That Woman First” and “Fabulous,” has been charged with third-degree animal cruelty and failure to provide necessary care to an animal. He was booked into Somerset County Jail and is awaiting a court hearing.

Trina Reveals That She Is Engaged!
The baddest bitch is one step closer to being the baddest bride. That’s right! Trina is officially engaged to be married. The rapper shared the news with life coach Stormy Wellington on Thursday (Sept. 9) as the two conversed on FaceTime.

“I had a big night last night,” said Trina as she showed off her diamond engagement ring.
Trina has reportedly been dating former college basketball player and Miami rapper Raymond Taylor for over five years. The two were great friends before they went on their first date, which was set up by Trina’s cousin and “Love and Hip Hop Miami” cast mate, Joy.

Trina actually had no idea Trick Daddy was coming out onstage during Verzuz
In an old episode of the reality show, she referred to him as an “amazing guy” and expressed skepticism about taking things further and potentially ruining their friendship. Though the “Single Again” emcee didn’t reveal the identity of her fiancé, it is believed that Taylor is the man who popped the big question.

Trina’s engagement comes nearly two months after she hit the Verzuz stage alongside her friend and competitor, Eve. After performing hits like “Pull Over,” “Da Baddest Bitch” and “Fuck Boy,” she dropped her newest single, “Receipts.” She also talked to REVOLT about how she’s been able to remain humble after more than two decades in the rap game.

“I have good energy. I’m a down, real person. I don’t have no insecurity. I like to laugh and live,” she said. “Life is short. You don’t realize that until you start losing people, you start seeing stuff that makes you have a different focus. How long you gonna be around here, nothing’s promised. It’s life. I’m in a great spirit always, more than likely.”

Congrats to Trina and her fiancé on the engagement

G-Eazy showed off his notoriously dark street style outside the Alo Wellness Dept. Dinner at Alo Yoga Flatron on Sept. 9.
Rapper Yeezy sat front row at the Prabal Gurung show with girlfriend Jeannie Mai.
Kehlani rocked the hottest in fall denim as she posed outside the Creator House, which was hosting the launch of Diesel’s SS22 Women’s Runway Capsule collection.
Offset made the biker-inspired look work as he attended the Willy Chavarria show.
Never one for boring fashion, Lil’ Kim made a splash with her iconic style at the Christian Siriano show.

There were even more celebrities, athletes, and influencers to be spotted wearing everything from elegant evening wear to low-key street style, which is expected to be a major fashion influence going into 2022.

Famous Dex To Serve Jail Time Following String Of Domestic Violence Arrests!
The hands of justice have seemingly caught up with “Japan” rapper Famous Dex and they’re placing him behind bars for the time being.

Akademiks intercepted a police report on Friday (September 10) that specified the Chicago native had been detained by the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Jail Section following his March and June arrests that detailed a litany of charges, including domestic violence and gun possession.
While the police booking document cites Famous Dex was officially sentenced on September 1 to 364 days of lockup, he also has a projected release date of November 24, allowing for the Rich The Kid and 300 Records’ prized artist to potentially have a Happy Thanksgiving 2021 if all goes well.
The past year has been tumultuous for Famous Dex, who saw his last studio album — 2020’s Diana — come and go without any charting or certification.

June’s hearing was actually ordered after the 28-year-old rapper was arrested for violating a protection order regarding a different October 2020 domestic violence charge. Similar to many of his arrests, he was brought up on a heaping load of charges: corporal injury domestic violence, threatening a domestic partner, exhibiting a firearm, inflicting bodily injury, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime, defacing property, and illegal possession of a firearm.
In addition to his legal woes, substance abuse has also plagued Famous Dex’s fluctuating career, with things tragically hitting the wall in 2019 when he suffered several public seizures — including one while performing in Los Angeles, the same city that now recognizes him as a prisoner.

As of press time, the “Pick It Up” rapper’s Instagram account has been completely wiped clean, leaving only a link to his 2021 SoundCloud album Say What You Want.

Kim Kardashian Arrives In NYC In Wild All-Leather Dominatrix Ensemble!
Looks like Kim Kardashian is exploring the dominatrix within.
The multimedia celebrity socialite made a shocking entrance today — even by her standards — covered completely in leather from head to toe as she checked into the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Central Park South.

The freakish ensemble looked as if Catwoman had stumbled through a box of black trash bags searching for something new to wear for a night out in New York City’s seedy sexual underworld.
Kardashian is in town for the Met Gala Monday night. The venerable celebrity bash has drawn ever-increasing criticism in recent years for devolving from the height of haute couture to a three-ring fashion clown show.
“It used to be the high-fashion event of the year,” said historian Bronwyn Cosgrave, who hosts the “A Different Tweed” podcast. “Now it’s an elaborately themed costume ball.”
Kardashian’s Ritz-Carlton ensemble, all of it in black leather, included stiletto heel boots, loose-fitting pants, trench coat and complete head covering with room for a ponytail to stick out the back.

Donald Trump Makes Surprise Visit At NYPD Precinct Instead of the 911 Memorial!
After deciding not to visit Ground Zero for the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, former President Donald Trump makes a surprise visit to an NYPD precinct and hints that he might run again for the 2024 Presidential Election.

Trump surprised NYPD officers at the 17th Precinct on the east side of Manhattan instead of joining President Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and others at the memorial site early Saturday morning. While speaking with the police officers, Trump was asked about his presidential campaign plans and whether he was planning to run in 2024.

“I think you’re going to be happy. That’s a tough question. Actually, it’s an easy question. I know what I’m going to do, but we’re not supposed to be talking about it yet, from the standpoint of campaign finance laws, which frankly are ridiculous,” he said.
As previously reported, Trump had a pre-recorded message honoring first responders and criticized Joe Biden for his efforts in handling the conflict in Afghanistan.

“This is a very sad day. September 11 represents great sorrow for our country. Many things were displayed that day, including most importantly the bravery of our police, fire, and first responders of every kind. The job they did was truly unbelievable. We love them and we thank them. It is also a sad time for the way our war on those that did such harm to our country ended last week. The loss of 13 great warriors and the many more who were wounded, should never have happened,”
