Katie Holmes for Vogue Australia - November 2020!

Katie Holmes graces the cover of Vogue Australia's November issue, in which she also opens up about her time in quarantine amid a global pandemic with 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.

Rocking thigh-high leather boots, a matching low-cut blazer and a wet, slicked-back 'do, it's definitely a different Holmes than we're used to seeing.

Holmes' new beau, Emilio Vitolo Jr., reportedly liked the shoot too -- posting, but then deleting, the cover with the caption "Yazzz baby" to his Instagram Story.

Holmes said she was honored to take part in the creative process for the edgy shoot, telling the publication she believed the images "evoked a heightened glamour and grounded strength."

"I worked with a group of incredibly creative and talented women who embodied that glamour and strength in the way they worked and interacted with each other and me," she said.

In an essay about her time in lockdown, the "Batman Begins" star said she "revisited books that I value. Hobbies such as sewing, painting and writing became new hallmarks of satisfaction and having had time at home to just be."

"To listen. To live for a moment in time without the pressure of results and instead appreciate the natural rhythms of mother and daughter was the most precious gift," she added. Throughout this experience the through-line for me has been a heightened awareness of each moment and really taking it in and appreciating it."

Through the pandemic, Holmes was eventually to reconnect with some of her friends and family members in-person, saying that "after months of FaceTime calls," reuniting "felt like Christmas morning."

"My mom's eyes were brighter, my dad's hands even stronger and our hugs much tighter," Holmes said. "Taking time in Washington Square Park with a friend whose little child was taking his first steps brought me back to when my own child began to walk. I felt nostalgic and in awe of the power of time and the continuation of life."

While looking back at the unusual year, Holmes remains hopeful for 2021 sharing, "The world has shifted and taken on a new shape and I believe we have become better people."

"The absence of routine, the revelation of truths that lie just below the surface, the challenge of moving forwards despite fear, and the willingness to be open to what our new world will be, are realities that have connected us all."

The November issue of Vogue Australia hits newsstands November 16.

#HipHopNews: Lil Baby Says He’s Back In Album Mode!

Lil Baby is back in album mode. After the biggest year of his career, including the release of his chart-topping album, the Atlanta rapper has announced that he’s done with features and is returning to the studio to focus on his next album.

“It was fun while it lasted 💰 No More features from Lil Baby ✌🏽,” tweeted Baby before adding the hashtag #albummode.

Released in February, his album My Turn debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remained there for five weeks. In May, he dropped the deluxe edition with six additional tracks.

Baby remains one of the most in-demand rappers, collaborating with Davido, City Girls, T.I., and Monica. Even Kanye West said he wanted to work with him.

The year of Lil Baby continues. He was recently nominated for two American Music Awards and will perform “Emotionally Scarred” during the show on Nov. 22.

Usher Shares the First Photo of Newborn Daughter Sovereign!

Usher is in full dad mode.  It was just two months ago that the Grammy winner shared the exciting news he was a father again. Back in September, he and his girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Sovereign Bo Raymond.

And while the couple kept the baby news tight-lipped throughout Jenn's pregnancy, it looks like Usher is ready to open up about his first few months with his little one.

During a virtual appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, Nov. 11, the singer shared the first image of his newborn daughter while also discussing her early birth in a candid interview.

"She looks like a little porcelain doll. She doesn't even look real," Ellen DeGeneres said, marveling at Sovereign's baby photo. However, Usher cheekily reminded the talk show host that his little one is cute "until you have to change her diaper."

The "Bad Habits" singer also quipped that his daughter is already calling the shots. But he mentioned he's not too surprised by this since he and Sovereign share the same zodiac sign.

As he put it, "She came out early. She was scheduled to be a Scorpio but decided she had a different plan. Libras, you know, they kinda have their minds made up on what they wanna do."

"It's funny because the umbilical cord was wrapped around her wrists," he added. "So she's pulling the thing, like, 'Pull me outta here, it's time to go!'"

Sovereign's early arrival isn't just leaving a sweet impression on her famous father. Usher revealed that his sons, Usher Raymond V, 12, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 11, "are excited about being big brothers."

"As they get older, I'm less cool of a dad," Usher explained of how his sons see him these days. "So now I'm starting this whole cycle over again and I'm kind of the apple of her eye right now."

The superstar shares his two kids with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Usher's mom is also over-the-moon over his baby girl. He admitted that she's already redecorating her place to make room for Sovereign.

"My mom, with all of the kids, she gives them their own room," he told Ellen about his children and niece. "I'm like, 'Mom, you're kind of out of space, what are you gonna do?' She's like, 'Oh no no no no, she's gonna have her room. She's just gonna take your room.'"

"She's kicking me out," he said with a laugh. "I'm sleeping on the couch and Sovereign, she now has my old bedroom. But it's cool."

Breonna Taylor – Ex Officer Involved In Her Death, Brett Hankison, Sued For Sexual Assault!

The former Louisville police officer involved in the tragic death of Breonna Taylor now has more legal issues on his hands.

Hankison, who is the only officer to face charges in Breonna Taylor’s death, is being accused of sexually assaulting a law school student, Margo Borders, while she was intoxicated back in 2018.

She filed court papers in Jefferson County Circuit Court in Louisville Tuesday (Nov. 10th), accusing Hankison of allegedly using his authority to spark a friendship with Borders before he allegedly assaulted her. She said the incident left her

“physically injured and mentally battered.”

The court documents also allege that Hankison allegedly has a habit of doing this, and catching women off guard as he gives them rides home from Louisville bars he was working at before allegedly assaulting them.

“Brett Hankison is a 44-year-old sexual predator. For years, he has used his police uniform and secondary night club employment as mechanisms to prey on innocent women who are two decades younger than him.”

She previously made claims on Facebook as she demanded justice for Breonna Taylor. She wrote:

In April of 2018 I went out to a bar with some friends. I went to call an uber home and a police officer who I had interacted with on many occasions at bars in St. Matthews offered me a ride home. He drove me home in uniform, in his marked car, invited himself into my apartment and sexually assaulted me while I was unconscious.

It took me months to process what had happened and to realize that it wasn’t my fault and I didn’t ask for that to happen by allowing him to give me a ride home. I never reported him out of fear of retaliation. I had no proof of what happened and he had the upper hand because he was a police officer. Who do you call when the person who assaulted you is a police officer? Who were they going to believe? I knew it wouldn’t be me. ?

In March of 2020 that same officer and two others (John Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove) entered the home of Breonna Taylor under a no-knock warrant and with absolutely no regard for anyone’s life shot over 22 rounds murdering Breonna Taylor while she was sleeping.

Brett Hankison has a history of violence, sexual assault, and planting drug evidence on people. There have been multiple allegations against this man and reports but all cases dropped and no disciplinary action taken.

He is currently on paid leave in Florida on the beach.

I implore all of you to demand justice for all of his victims, but mostly demand justice for Breonna Taylor.

Contact the attorney general Daniel Cameron to charge him and the LMPD Professional Standards Unit to fire him.

Borders is working with the same lawyers that represented Breonna Taylor’s family members as they won a $12 million wrongful death lawsuit from the City of Louisville regarding her death.

A member of her legal team, Lonita Baker, said in a statement to ABC News:

“Our client, Margo, felt that it was necessary to come forward and pursue justice, and hold Brett accountable. He used his uniform and badge to target unsuspecting women whom he knew were in a possible state where they could not consent and took advantage of them. It’s disgusting.”

Interestingly enough, Hankison’s lawyer Stew Mathews wasn’t aware of the lawsuit. He told ABC News:

“I just found out it was filed yesterday. So I don’t know anything about it.”

What are your thoughts on the lawsuit?

YOUR FIRST LOOK! American Horror Story season 10 poster!

American Horror Story series creator Ryan Murphy must be listening to Lady Gaga's "Sour Candy" like the rest of us because he wants you to "take a bite, take a bite" out of the first poster for the mysterious season 10.

Murphy shared the new teaser image over social media late Tuesday night. A mouth with razor-sharp teeth opens wide as a gloved hand tattoos "AHS 10" onto a tongue. Worth noting, Murphy set Provincetown, Mass. as the location of where this photo was uploaded.

It's also similar to a previous clue Murphy shared back in August when he announced an October start of production for the new season and shared an image of a jaw with equally pointed fangs.

The show previously tackled bloodsuckers in Gaga's Hotel season, and fan guesses for season 10 range from mermaids and sirens to Jaws. Other clues we've seen from Murphy include a sandy beach and talk of a "weather-dependent" story.

Sarah Paulson returns to American Horror Story for season 10, as do Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock. The big newcomer will be Macaulay Culkin, who Murphy teased has a "very, very great, insane part" that includes "crazy, erotic sex" with Bates' character.

The season is expected to premiere sometime in 2021.

In a company memo, Conde Nast Chief People Officer Stan Duncan wrote that its “investigation regarding Jeffrey Toobin is complete, and as a result, he is no longer affiliated with our company.”

“I want to assure everyone that we take workplace matters seriously. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels respected and upholds our standards of conduct,” Duncan said.

Toobin, 60, is one of the country’s most prominent legal authors and commentators. He is a former associate counsel in the Department of Justice who for the New Yorker has written about everything from the O.J. Simpson murder trial to the impeachment hearings of President Donald Trump.

He has been with CNN since 2002 and is the author of several books, most recently “True Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Investigation of Donald Trump,” published in August. His 1996 book, “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” was adapted into an FX series.

#RIP: Lawrence Clayton, Broadway actor and ‘Dreamgirls’ star, dead at 64!

Veteran theater actor Lawrence Clayton, who made his Broadway debut as C.C. White in “Dreamgirls” in 1981, died Nov. 2.

His death, following a two-year fight with glioblastoma cancer, was confirmed to Deadline by Buchwald talent agency.

The North Carolina native’s most recent Broadway role was playing Ol’ Mister for the entire run of the 2015 revival of “The Color Purple.” His other Broadway productions included “Bells Are Ringing” (2001), “It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues” (1999), “The Civil War” (1999), a revival of “Once Upon a Mattress” (1996) and “The High Rollers Social and Pleasure Club” (1992). Over the years he performed in several off-Broadway shows — including, most recently, “Damn Yankees” in 2017 — and toured with shows including “Les Misérables” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

Clayton also logged appearances in numerous TV series, including a turn as Pray Tell’s (Billy Porter) stepfather in a 2019 episode of the FX series “Pose.” He also had guest spots on shows like “Elementary,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Homeland” and “The Big C.”

Night after night, when I gave him back those candlesticks, the look of forgiveness and redemption always moved me. His eyes, his heart, his humor, his voice. What a talent. You shone, and you shone bright.”

Clayton’s survivors include his wife, Linda, and a son, Matthew.

Cardi B Wears Sexy Leather Catsuit For Race Track Photo Shoot!

Cardi B is keeping it hot on the race track! On Tuesday (November 10), the "Bet U Wanna" rapper shared a sexy Instagram photo of herself while on a secret photo shoot. "Work was long today ....Stay tuned🖤," she captioned a photo of herself wearing a leather catsuit, which put her famous curves on display, thigh-high boots and a black leather bandana as she posed on a race track.

While Cardi didn't reveal what brought her to the track, that didn't stop fans from speculating in the comment section. "OMG DROP THE SONG! OMG YES! 😍," one fan commented. While another hilariously added, "Cardi president 2024!🇺🇸."

A third fan kept it a little more realistic as they wrote, "Nvm fast and furious probably🤧," referencing her upcoming Fast & Furious appearance.

Earlier this week, the 28-year-old rapper shared footage of herself unboxing her upcoming Reebok footwear collection, and let's just say, it was an unboxing like none other.

In the Instagram video, two ladies are shown opening up a HUGE gold “B” box that then unravels a pink carpet. Once the carpet rolls on to the floor, the ladies take out a smaller red box, that is also in the shape of a “B,” which opens up into the shape of an open mouth that shows Cardi's new “Club C Cardi” sneakers right on top of the tongue.

"Wow ! Wow ! I love my @Reebok collab packaging," the "WAP" rapper captioned the clip on Sunday (November 9). "I never seen it in person. These will be deliver tomorrow.I love it !I hope you guys love it ❤️."\

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Drafts “Anti Mob” Legislation To Allow Citizens To Shoot Looters and Rioters!

Governor Ron DeSantis has drafted “anti-mob” legislation to expand Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. Critics claim this legislation will allow and empower armed citizens to shoot suspected looters or anyone engaged in “criminal mischief” that disrupts a business.

According to The Miami Herald, lawyers say it’s just one of the many troubling aspects of the draft bill being pushed by the Republican governor in response to police-brutality protests that erupted across the country this summer.

“It allows for vigilantes to justify their actions,” said Denise Georges, a former Miami-Dade County prosecutor who had handled Stand Your Ground cases. “It also allows for death to be the punishment for a property crime — and that is cruel and unusual punishment. We cannot live in a lawless society where taking a life is done so casually and recklessly.”

The drafted legislation follows through on DeSantis’ pledge in September to crack down on “violent and disorderly assemblies” after he pointed to “reports of unrest” in other parts of the country that followed the national outrage of the death of George Floyd.

This proposal would expand the list of “forcible felonies” under Florida’s self-defense law to justify the use of force against people who engage in any criminal mischief that results in the “interruption or impairment” of a business, and looting, which the draft defines as burglary within 500 feet of a “violent or disorderly assembly.”

DeSantis is also proposing to enhance criminal penalties for people involved in “violent or disorderly assemblies” and make it a third-degree felony to block traffic during a protest. The proposal will offer immunity to drivers who claim to have “unintentionally” killed or injured protesters who block traffic and withhold state funds from local governments that cut law enforcement budgets.
